Best thing to do in Tenerife
Absolutely amazing experience, Masca Valley and the village are stunning, awe inspiring places to visit. Driving the buggy is so fun and you get such a great view of the island and towns on the way to Masca, and on the way back you get a spectacular view of Teide too! Eugene the guide is such a lovely young guy, full of knowledge about the area and the village. He is very kind and considerate on the journey too, making sure to check in, providing coats if needed when it gets cold, and then stopping at amazing viewpoints where he gives you the deep history of Masca and the Canary islands. He makes you feel like a VIP the whole time, especially when you get to the village where he is well known. We went on our honeymoon and did so many different things, but this trip with Eugene was the best thing we did. We will happily go back to him!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your incredible review! We’re truly honored that this experience was the highlight of your honeymoon—that means a lot to us. We’re delighted you enjoyed the stunning views of Masca Valley, the buggy drive, and even the views of Teide on the way back. Eugene will be so happy to hear your kind words—he really cares about making every guest feel special and sharing the history and spirit of the area. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again for another unforgettable experience!

Superb!
A must do in Tenerife for a fun time away from the busy touristy areas. Wonderful views and sunset. I would do again if I return. Masca is stunning.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the stunning views, the sunset, and especially Masca — it truly is a magical place. It’s wonderful to know you’d love to do it again if you return to Tenerife. We’ll be delighted to welcome you back anytime!

Stole my money
I had booked this tour for 11:00 a.m. so that my friend and I could go with our other friends. Everything was confirmed and I had received verification that I had booked it for 11:00 a.m and got the tickets. They then reached out to me on WhatsApp saying they had sold their last 11:00 a.m. spots, and that the only other time they had was for 2:00 p.m. They had kept saying the only time they had for us was for 2:00 p.m. without acknowledging the fact that we could not just drop the rest of our day for this as we had scheduled this tour around the time we had gotten confirmation for. I had kept reiterating that my tickets were sent to me for the 11:00 a.m. tour and that that was the only time I could go. When I finally asked for my refund, due to the fact that I could not go at the time they offered, I was no longer getting any responses. At this point I still have yet to get a response, and my money was taken.
Response from the operator: Good day, We are very sorry that you were unable to join your friends. However, we informed you that the 11 AM tour was sold out within the first hour after your booking. You had the option to cancel and receive a refund. As we understand, your friends preferred not to share the same tour time with you and decided to keep their reservation. We waited for your response for several days but did not receive an answer. We were expecting you to join the 2 PM tour, as per your booking. Unfortunately, due to our 24-hour cancellation policy, we are unable to cancel the tour the night before the experience. Best regards

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group.: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tenerife.
How much does Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group. cost?
+
Prices start at $236 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tenerife usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group. take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tenerife is not rushed.
Is Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tenerife, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group.?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group. suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group.?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tenerife can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tenerife and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Masca Valley Guided Buggy Tour. Small Group. start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tenerife within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tenerife?
+
On Outty we rank every Tenerife experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whale watching & listening Eco-Catamaran Tour with Snacks &Drinks, Group Surfing Lesson at Playa de las Américas, Tenerife, 3-hour Whale and Dolphin Watching and Listening Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tenerife?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tenerife?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
