Fantastic driver, dinner, & show!

Wonderful experience from our driver, to the show, to the food. I highly recommend this to anyone and I would do it again if I ever came back. Our driver Imad was fantastic and personable.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this fantastic review! We're thrilled that Imad, the dinner, and the show made your evening so memorable. Your recommendation and your willingness to do it again mean the world to us. Hope to welcome you back to Marrakech!

Great event - spoilt by Viator

The place and show was enjoyable, the meal wasn't great but definitely worth going as vibrant and fun. Unfortunately, our experience was spoilt by the communication with the transport that comes with the package. We received a message via WhatsApp from the local guide to tell us he would pick us up at 8pm. The time on the ticket stated the show started at 7pm, so we queried this with both the tranport and the app itself. No explanation was given apart from he would pick us up at 8pm. He also changed the pick up point. We were worried we would miss the first hour and also, had already areanged getting to the orriginal pick up point, so we decided to book our own transport to the event. We arrived to an empty carpark to be told it would not open until after 8pm due to Ramadan. We were two women, stranded in the middle of nowhere, not a soul around, for over an hour feeling very vulnerable ( my friend is also registered disabled). When the event finally opened, we were told we couldn't enter, as we were not with our transport guide and he had our tickets! Be aware, the e-tickets you get from the app, don't give you entry! I couldn't see on the app where it states this. We explained to the woman on entry our predicament and she called our guide and had a heated conversation with him. She was very accommodating and let us in. However, the guide would not pick us up to take us back, so we had to rely on our hotel to send a taxi to take us back (round trip cost us around £50) they also could only collect us 20mins before the end, so we missed the last 15mins of the show. This could have all been avoided with clear communication from the guide and the app of why the time had been changed! Personally Viator should refund our money as they ruined what should have been a brilliant experience. Instead, it ended up being stressful, which took a lot of the enjoyment out of the evening. The event i would give 4 stars (although we didnt get to experience it all!) but the experience from viator, I would give 1 star.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you faced during your evening. Rest assured, we take all feedback seriously and strive to provide the best possible experience to our customers. After reviewing the details of your booking and our records, we would like to clarify that you were not picked up by our driver for this service. We have proof that the transportation provided as part of our package was not utilized. Unfortunately, as a result, the issues you encountered with transport were outside of our service. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been for you and your companion. However, as the provided transportation and associated guidance were not used, we cannot take responsibility for the difficulties you experienced.

Traditional music, food and fun!

A must do for traditional music, dancing and food! They set the scene from the moment you arrive with horses, music and dancers! It only continues from there and gets better. The food was delicious, the energy and atmosphere was fantastic. Kids were entertained and participated in the whole experience. Servings of food were plentiful and the service was friendly. Would recommend for all.

Poor show, worse experience

Every interaction, they wanted you to pay extra, becoming aggressive when you refused. The whole show was so staged, participants clearly did not enjoy what they did and worked here for a wage, not because they had any interest in what they did, or their history. Food was mediocre, and shared by table with locals using their fingers to take theirs, then we had to eat the same food . I would not return, not value for money, completely contrived and only done to part you with your cash. Avoid

Dolly Parton Land and Disneyland with a Moroccan Twist! Great Fun

This was a fun event and great way to end our stay in Marrakech. Sort of a mixture of Dolly Parton Land and Disneyland with a Moroccan twist! It had musicians from the various regions of Morocco, a great horse show and even a magic carpet ride. The food was good, the soup was exceptional. Our driver, Abdelha, was great. We had some very interesting conversations about Moroccan culture and political events in the region. A very relaxing and interesting time before our long flight home!

Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia) cost?

+

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia) take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia)?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marrakech: Traditional Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show (Fantasia) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
