Awesome Experience.
The scenery is spectacular and the overall experience is breathtaking. From the stop at the high Atlas mountain pass, to the beautiful valley drive, the Tonga Gorge and the spectacular camel and buggy ride in the desert. My only concern was the washroom/shower facility in the desert camp. Otherwise 100% recommended. Our driver was awesome, stopped for all the top places with sufficient time. Great chatting with him along the way. Again the scenery and overall experience is truly spectacular.

Once in a lifetime trip
This was an amazing once in a lifetime trip. You see such a large swath of Morocco and see such varied landscapes. My guide Abdul and driver Ibrahim were amazing. three days (The desert)
We had three wonderful days. Our driver was very friendly and helpful😍😍. He drove safely and managed to get to all the places on time. He took enough breaks and clearly announced the itinerary for the day. When we arrived at the places for the visits, the guides were waiting for us, which made everything go well. Lunches are organized along the way, but you are free to do whatever you want. We visited Ait Ben Haddou with a personal guide, toured the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and had a nice camel in the desert. It was a lot of fun. For the return, Our driver made sure we all made it safely to our riads by keeping in touch with us...

3 days travelling alone in Morocco
I had just spent 6 days traveling alone in Morocco, where I had completed two smaller tours with different companies before this one. While it is true the others were great but I would dare to say that they do not compare at all with this one.If you are going to spend a week in Morocco, I would advise you this last tour, as it has been the highlight of my trip.It has been full of adventures from start to finish and I have met excellent people along the way.Our driver (guide), Omar, did a remarkable job of taking us safely through the mountains and desert.Omar explained the history of many of the places we had seen during our trip and was always happy to answer any questions. He also helped us learn the important Arabic and Berber words. For me, the best part of the tour was the campfire under the starry sky in the desert.Different groups gather around the fire with beautiful traditional music in the background singing, dancing and playing drums. The Mood is unlike anything I have experienced.Sharing drinks, talking, singing and dancing with strangers. All the guides were great and helped members of other groups, but Omar in particular really brought energy with his dancing and singing. We all got involved and had an extraordinary time. When it calmed down, Omar told us jokes and guesses by the fire.It was a good fun time. Truly I recommend you do not regret a unique and incredible experience.

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Desert 3-Day Morocco Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
