Ourika waterfall, Atlas mountain & lunch experience 2026

We had two families of 10 people and we had a wonderful experience today. The tour guide and driver Hajar and Yassine were brilliant. Very well organised, punctual, friendly, funny, polite, kind and brilliant English/French speakers. 24hours communication via WhatsApp of the pick up with clear directions and pictures of the van. I would highly recommend them and Zouhair the hiking guide. Amazing people, thank you all for a lovely experience today.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🙏 It was a real pleasure having both families with us today. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience and appreciated the organisation, communication, and service from Hajar, Yassine, and Zouhair. ❤️ Your kind words mean a lot to our whole team. We hope to welcome you again in Morocco for another unforgettable adventure! 🇲🇦✨

It could be better .

The first impression was bad. The mini bus that took us for excursion was in poor condition. No AC , warm air slapped our faces throughout the journey. The stop at Berber authentic museum was good. They served us bread with organic honey, peanut butter and olive oil . And Moroccan tea. When arrived at agafay, to our surprise the quad bike was two person per bike or pay extra 150 Moroccan dirhams if want a solo ride. We are a family of five and I didn’t want to pay extra neither wanted to join a random guy so opted out despite paying for 5 people. The sunset dinner was much better than other dinners we had previously with other excursions. Not a fan of tagine or cusscuss but they were ok with a bottle of water included in the price . After sunset, it was live music and then the spectacular fireshow. It was amazing and the highlight of the excursion.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We truly appreciate both your positive and constructive comments. We’re sorry that the condition of the minibus and the lack of air conditioning affected your first impression. Your feedback is important, and we will discuss it with our transport partner to improve our guests’ experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the visit to the Berber cooperative, the authentic Moroccan tasting, the sunset dinner, the live music, and especially the fire show. Regarding the quad bikes, our experience includes shared quads (2 people per quad), as stated in the activity details, while solo quads are available with an additional charge. We understand this may not have been the ideal option for your family, and we’re sorry for any disappointment. Thank you again for your honest review. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with an even better experience in the future.

Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch cost?

+

Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch?

+

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marrakech: Ourika Waterfall, Atlas Mountain, Guide & River Lunch start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
