A must do when in Marrakesh
We had such a wonderful experience with Marrakesh by Air. We had a private basket for our family, including our kids and grandparents, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish, from the moment our driver picked us up at our riad to the moment he dropped us back. Aziz, our pilot, was incredibly experienced and made us feel completely at ease. It was quite windy, so we were expecting a slightly adventurous landing, but it was unbelievably smooth and we landed completely upright! The Moroccan tea and breakfast afterwards were such a lovely way to finish the morning, and I would absolutely recommend buying the drone footage. It captures the experience beautifully and is such a special keepsake. A truly memorable experience for the whole family and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakesh.

Fun experience
We stayed at the Be Live Collection hotel, north of the city centre so we only had about a 20 min drive to the start of the flight. The coffee and croissant pre-flight breakfast was fine , the post flight Berber breakfast was certainly not to our taste and we left most of the things we tried. Looking around everyone else did the same but we managed to get back to the hotel before breakast closed :-) The flight itself was good fun and there were probably around 25-30 ballons flying at the same time, a drone covers part of the flight so you can buy a short video of your experience which makes a great souvenir of the trip.

Marrakech Hotair Balloon Ride - Unforgettable experience
We had an absolutely amazing experience with the Marrakech by Air hot air balloon ride. From start to finish, everything was extremely well organised, professional, and friendly. Watching the sunrise over the beautiful Moroccan landscape from the balloon was truly breathtaking and something we'll never forget. The pilot made us feel completely safe throughout the flight and shared interesting information along the way. After landing, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Berber breakfast, which was the perfect way to finish the experience. The food was fresh, authentic, and served in a lovely setting, giving us a real taste of Moroccan hospitality. This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakesh. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Morocco and looking for a unique and memorable experience. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful morning!

Wow what an experience. Sunrise hot air balloon.
Wow, what an experience! We did the sunrise breakfast hot air balloon this morning. Yousef was great at organising and communicating all of the details via WhatsApp. Wow it was amazing, so peaceful and beautiful. Well worth the 4am pick up time. Our Pilot's name was Reda, he was very funny. Excellent pilot ensuring we felt very safe at all times. Extra rouch was the music, perfect playlist. Nice soft landing at the end too. Definitely recommend Marrakesh by air to everyone. Thanks guys ❤️

Do it!
What a fabulous experience! Our driver was around 20 mins late to pick us up (should have been 4am) which was a little worrying for us, but everything after that was amazing. Our pilot Reza/Reda had a fabulous sense of humour and the flight was over before we knew it. Had our Berber breakfast and mint tea and back at our hotel just after 9am. Highly recommend and the price was extremely reasonable at £79 pp.

Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast cost?
+
Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 80 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast?
+
Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Flight with Berber Breakfast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
