What you'll see and do

  1. Jardin Majorelle

The Majorelle Garden was first created by the French painter Jacques Majorelle in 1923. He had built a villa for himself there and expanded his property buying further parcels of land crowded with the painter's botanical collection from all over the world. After the death of Majorelle , the garden was neglected and abandoned until it was discovered by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé who had restored the house, enriched the botanical garden and brought them to their former glory. The villa Studio is now home to a Berber Culture Museam which contains the best of YSL personal collection of Berber items like authentic hand made silver jewelry , antique ceramic, rugs and other pieces of art.

Excellent private tour

Need to pre book well in advance (several days !) for Jardin Majorelle. Hassan helped us to book the garden tickets otherwise we wouldn’t have got in . Hassan was a true local seemed to know everyone ! His knowledge was excellent, gave us lots of insight into the history and the local culture. Absolutely no pressure to buy at the stop offs , we appreciated being able to skip the long queues. Shared the certified shopping areas to avoid bro g scammed. Excellent recommendation for lunch , great food at very reasonable price. They accommodated our request to visit the local pottery market Had a fabulous day from start to finish 10/10. .

Response from the operator: Hi Miss Sandy I’m so happy to hear that you had enjoyed a great experience with us in Marrakech. Thanks so much for supporting our community of women and every family during your journey in Morocco 🇲🇦. Thanks

Do this your first day!

Hassen was the best! Highly recommend to do this the first full day you are in Marrakesh, Hassen can give you lots of recommendations on where to eat, shop, and other destinations to view! We had mentioned we were interested in seeing the Marrakesh Synagogues and he added a stop on the tour just to show them to us. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Response from the operator: Hi Mr Liam Thank you for your feedback and support to our community. We are so glad to meet you and your family in Marrakech. You’re welcome again whenever you can. Thanks

Highly recommend Hassan!

Hassan is an amazing guide! Knowledgeable, professional and kind. We booked two tours with him during our staying in Marrakesh; a private souks tour and a private city tour. I would highly recommend doing BOTH for a great full over view of the of the city! I can’t recommend Hassan enough!!!

Response from the operator: Hi Mrs Jaclyn Thank you for your trust and support to our community. We have enjoyed great moments together during your journey in Marrakech. Thanks

Official Tour Guide Marrakesh

Muslaphe is an Official Tour Guide who introduced himself to us outside the Koutoubia Mosque. He was very friendly, polite and really helpful. Haven’t out his way to take us to the old part of the city and most importantly ‘instructed us how to cross the road’. Will look forward to seeing him again.

It was a good experience....

It was a good experience. The guide was attentive. The driver was always available. We visited the main spots and even got some valuable tips. The Majorelle Garden part was a bit rushed.

Response from the operator: Hi Miss Suely Thank you for your feedback. I’m so happy to hear that you’re happy with our service that includes: fast access to monuments and Majorelle which is very crowded with very long queues. I’m glad you enjoyed the guide and the quality of transport which is a private comfortable Vito Mercedes. The last part was a little bit rushed because , I was flexible with you to accept the added 2 museums that are Not part of the program of a 3,5 hours. NB : It’s a very high season now and adding 2 museums will 100 % need an extra hour or more . Thanks 🙏

Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 87 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour?

+

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marrakech Highlights : Majorelle , Bahía Palace , Mellah & Souks :Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
