Interesting but a lot of downtime and waiting around.

So it is not a long journey out to the venue from Marrakesh. A comfortable people carrier. You will get the obligatory stop before the Berber camp, for an attempt to sell you argan oil products (including peanut butter, facial cream and soaps) or a keffiyeh (scarf). When you arrive at the camp, you may be lucky to get your ride on the quads immediately, or have to sit and wait. We waited for the best part of an hour! The quad bike ride is fun and whilst off road, not too difficult for a novice. You have a guide and the controls are effectively accelerate and brake! You will get fitted with a helmet and goggles, but be prepared to get dusty……very dusty. In fact take a change of clothing! It is not a 2 hours ride though. More like an hour of biking in total…..but that was enough. Camel ride was at sun set so we waited for another couple of hours. The animals are closely tethered on the walk …..and I like others was concerned for their welfare, although they are probably healthy and well fed. Entertainment was by Berber “musicians” and dancers. Food (couscous and chicken with salad) was served very late ( just before 21:00). There was a lot of it and it was both hot and tasty. One word of advice about the toilets……”don’t”. Doors didn’t lock, they were dirty, floors were wet and there were no hand towels. If you can last the 7 hours without needing to go, all the better. In summary good but not for animal lovers or those with a weak bladder.

    Top value for money but...

Top value for money but no hotel pickup as offered, quad was in extremely bad condition, and overall experience took 6-7 hours

    Great day

Hi guys, want to say a big thanks to the people who organized this trip, especially for Chorok - the best assistant ever. It was a great day, and I can highly recommend it

    Not organised and over priced!

I want to share an honest review as there are many camps with this package to choose from. We have been on this trip with another company earlier this year for £30pp. We decided to chose this one , which is double the price, with the hopes of getting a better experience. However we did not! The cheaper one was better value for money. So please don’t let the price fool you, go off reviews alone!

    Agafay trip

Good and enjoyable experience and it was a value for money trip, although, it could have done with a longer camel 🐫 ride. Were picked up from my place and dropped back 7-8 hours later. Staff were kind and helpful all the way through. Atmosphere was warm and friendly, all through the journey and at camp. The entertainment was great, with lovely food to compliment the night. Best of all, was our guide, Chourouq, was warm, friendly and spok different languages which was a great advantage. Great job 👏

Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool cost?

    +

Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 133 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool?

    +

Around 47 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marrakech Desert Agafay Quad & Camel with dinner & swimming pool start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

    +

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
