What you get

    About this experience

Mardi Himal Trek is located eastward of the classic Annapurna Base Camp which was officially opened in 2012 for all. This trek is a hidden gem spectacularly situated at the base of Mardi Himal and the impressive Machhapuchhre. The richly diverse terrains of Mardi Himal take us across the densely forested areas leading to the high rocky mountain trails. The trail goes along small winding paths, through magical rhododendron forests until we climb out of the forest at an elevation around 3,300 m. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rugged high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. We can customize this trip as per your schedule, budget and preferences. If you wish to discuss any aspect of this trip or your suitability for it please contact us.

    5/5 review

My daughter and I have just completed the Mardi Himal trek with an absolutely wonderful guide named Krishna. Not only was he knowledgeable, helpful, patient and respectful but also very entertaining. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My husband and I are hoping to complete the Anapurna Circuit next year and we will definitely be asking for Krishna to be our guide. Thankyou Krishna

Response from the operator: Namaste ! Thank you so much for your excellent review. I am sure this review will certainly help us to grow. I also like to thank our guide krishna , who made your trek memorable. With Regards, Dambar

    5/5 review

Krishna was our guide for the Mardi Himal Trek. He was very helpful and kind the whole time, and also very knowledgeable. He adjusted the walk to accommodate my mum as she struggles with steep down hill walking. He has a great personality and made the trip very enjoyable for us. Would definitely recommend Krishna as your next guide.

Response from the operator: Hello Thank you for your review. We are very much happy with your review. We are sure it will help us to grow. We also like to thank Krishna who made your trip memorable. With Best Regards, Dambar

Thank you for this incredible experience!

Nabu gave me an incredibly valuable experience! I've climbed mountains hundreds of times in Japan with my family, but he showed me such amazing scenery. And it was three days where | learned important lessons. Experience, not money. Relax and enjoy the mountains. Act safely. Nabu is truly the best guide! Thank you for the best time of my 45 years of life! I will definitely come back to Nepal, so I hope to ask you again!

    Good memories

I came to Nepal for the first time and climbed Mardihimar. We have climbed many mountains in Japan, but we have never climbed more than 4000 meters. That's why I was worried. But we had a great guide, Nabu. He is a very funny, strong, and kind guide. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy climbing. On the first day, I was worried that I would be able to see the scenery from now on because of the heavy rain. However, I was overwhelmed by the wonderful scenery on the second and third days. I am very satisfied to see the scale of mountains that are unthinkable in Japan and beautiful mountains that cannot be seen in Japan. I will definitely rely on this company and Nabu again to climb Manasuru! Thank you Nabu!!!

Response from the operator: Namaste ! Thank you so much for your excellent review. I am sure this will help us to grow. I also like to thank our guide Nabu, who make your dream true. Hope see you soon for the next trip. Regards, Dambar K C

Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

How much does Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D cost?

    +

Prices start at $306 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

Is Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mardi Himal Trek 4N-5D start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
