    Game changer!

Our full-day tour of Les Puces with Allison from Tours Truly was one of the highlights of our time in Paris. Having visited the flea market on my own before, I thought I had a decent sense of what it had to offer. I quickly realized how much I had been missing. Allison’s deep knowledge of the market, its history, and its many specialized sections transformed what can feel like an overwhelming maze into an exciting and highly curated experience. She knew exactly where to go based on our interests, introduced us to exceptional dealers we never would have found on our own, and provided fascinating context about the pieces, vendors, and the evolution of the market itself. What impressed me most was how much value her expertise added beyond simple navigation. She helped us distinguish truly special finds from ordinary merchandise, shared insights into pricing and provenance, and gave us the confidence to make purchases we felt great about. The day was perfectly paced, engaging, and tailored to us. If you’re considering a visit to Les Puces, I cannot recommend Allison highly enough. Even if you’ve been before, her knowledge and connections will allow you to experience the market in an entirely different way. She turned what could have been a day of wandering into a memorable and rewarding adventure.

Response from the operator: Merci for this incredibly thoughtful review! Reading it absolutely made my day. One of my favorite things about Les Puces is that no two visits are ever the same, and I love helping guests discover that there is so much more beneath the surface than meets the eye. What can seem overwhelming at first becomes a treasure hunt once you know the personalities of the different markets and the stories behind the objects and dealers. It was such a pleasure spending the day with you and sharing some of the people, history, and hidden corners that have captivated me for nearly a decade. I’m especially happy that you found pieces you loved and felt confident bringing them home. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your Paris adventure. I hope every time you look at your finds, they bring back memories of a wonderful day at Les Puces. And, of course, I hope there will be another treasure hunt together someday! Merci beaucoup!

Les Puces with Allison - truly a memorable experience

Allison is an absolute delight and has thought of everything to make this a memorable experience - from her incredible knowledge of the vast array of stalls to having hand sanitizer after the Metro ride! Before our tour, she asked about anything specific we were looking for, and once there, she guided us to some extraordinary spots for just what we were looking for and much, much more. And the tour included additional spots that were so much fun and filled with amazing items. Allison has great rapport with a wide range of vendors and managed our time beautifully - selected great spots for coffee/citron presse breaks as well as lunch. Les Puces is truly a must see in Paris, and I can't image doing it with anyone other than Allison.

Response from the operator: You are so kind to share such lovely words and your time with me. It was such a pleasure to show you the secrets of Aux Puces, and I'm so glad you were able to find some treasures to bring home, and it delights me that when you wear your new scarf, you'll think of me and your time in Paris. Until next time, my friend!

A Fun and Memorable Market Tour!

We had an amazing experience with Allison during a half-day tour of the market and nearby flea markets. From the moment we met, Allison was incredibly warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Exploring the markets with her was not only interesting but also so much fun—she knew exactly where to go and helped us discover some truly unique finds. What really stood out was how kind and attentive she was with everyone in our group. She made each person feel included and special, taking the time to answer questions, share stories, and make sure we were all enjoying ourselves. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it turned a simple market visit into a memorable experience. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do, I can’t recommend Allison enough. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip!

Response from the operator: Merci, Brooke. It was such a delight to share the treats Paris has to offer, glad you enjoyed, and look forward to your return!

In Love with Paris All over Again

Allison (Tours Truly) is simply the best. This was my son's first visit to Paris, and it could not have been planned any better. We have some pretty particular and specific interests, and Allison nailed them across the board. From cooking classes and walking tours to the perfect restaurants, this trip was a success in every way. And while I am no stranger to Paris, this was my first excursion to the marchés and it was just great. My only regret was not buying that painting when I had a chance,... Oh well, guess I have to go back.

Response from the operator: Let's take care of it and buy something more special next time. So glad you both enjoyed and can't wait fr our next trip out there together!

    Tours Truly, so good!!

Allison gave us a thorough tour of the market, explaining the origin of the local foods, pointing out the best vendors. She took such good care of us!

Response from the operator: I really love the marchè tour and sharing it with people like you. The culture is just as interesting as the monuments, and it's great when folks go beyond the standard tours. Thanks so much for choosing us to share your valuable time in Paris with. Hope you'll be back!

Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours cost?

    +

Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Marché Madness & Flea Markets: Full or Half day Privater Tours start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

    +

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

    +

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
