Nice day out with Ilias, our guide. Plenty of history and interesting sites, but perhaps without the outstanding highlights available at so many other destinations around Athens. Still worth doing if Marathon (the battle and the run) is your particular interest. Includes the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens as the first item.
