Amazing Manu Amazon Adventure!!
Manu National Park is one of the last truly wild places on Earth, and it delivered beyond all expectations. Our small group was brilliantly led by Abel, an outstanding guide whose encyclopedic knowledge of the jungle, uncanny ability to spot wildlife, and infectious passion for conservation made every day in the field an absolute joy. Our jungle lodge struck a perfect balance between comfort and immersion, the food was a genuine surprise — fresh, flavourful, and varied despite the remote location — and travelling as a small group was wonderful. The wildlife was simply breathtaking: macaws dazzled overhead; capybara lounged along the riverbanks; agoutis darted through the undergrowth; and the birdlife — toucans, kingfishers, hoatzins, tanagers and more — was staggering in its variety. If you get the chance to go with Abel, don’t hesitate. It was the trip of a lifetime.
Response from the operator: Dear Sarah, Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that Abel made your visit such a special experience. Comments like yours motivate us to keep improving and providing the best possible service to each of our travelers. Thank you for your trust, and we hope to welcome you back on a future adventure! Wonderful trip.
An immersive tour to the Amazon Jungle with Abel. The tour included all admission fees and equipments like boots. The lodges were all remotely located which made it easier to get a realy Amazon experience and witness some local flora and fauna and savour local food. Though, be prepared for long drive on Day 1 and day 4, they do have stops alongthe way but it is better to carry some motion sickness meds and water.
Response from the operator: Dear Warner, Thank you so much for your comment and for highlighting your experience in Manu. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour, Abel's work, and the authenticity of the accommodations and cuisine. We greatly appreciate your comments and recommendations. too much driving for little jungle experience
Really long access on windy and on roads that are not in great condition. If you are someone who gets nauseated in the car, it is a tough long ride. Unfortunately we did not see much expected wildlife. Once in the lodge, it did not feel remote at all, close to the village and well trodden paths. So much travelling on road for little wildlife. Guide was professional and knowledgeable.
Response from the operator: Dear Martina, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We regret that your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Access to Manu involves long journeys due to its remote location, which is part of the experience of reaching one of the most biodiverse areas in the country. Regarding wildlife, sightings can vary since it is a completely natural environment. Nevertheless, we have taken your comments about your perception of the surroundings and the lodge's location into account. We sincerely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to continue improving each experience. Warm regards, Evelyn - Palotoa Amazon Travel Team.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $958 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 62 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure?
+
Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Manu National Park 4 Day Amazon Rainforest Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
