Adventurous buggy trip!
We were a group of three, and had a great time with our tour guide Ian. Although the buggy we had was quite loud and old, our guide was very accommodating and attentive. The trip was very diverse, as we got to see all the beautiful architecture and nature that Gozo has to offer. Lunch was also good, and the boat ride back was a fun experience to end the day with. It was truly a full day tour!
Response from the operator: Good Morning Thank you for the lovely review.

A Great Day Exploring Gozo by Buggy
We picked up the boat and travelled to Gozo, passing Comino along the way. Our buggy transport was waiting for us when we arrived, and we were joined by two other people. The buggy was an enjoyable and novel way to explore the island. Our driver and guide for the day was Ian, who was excellent. He stopped at various locations so we could take in the views and surrounding countryside. Ian was very informative, not only sharing interesting information about the places we visited but also explaining some of the local customs and traditions. The Ggantija Museum was an additional €10 per person, but it was well worth the cost. There were a number of fascinating ancient relics dating back more than 5,000 years, as well as the impressive remains of a Neolithic temple outside. We also stopped at the Citadel, which is definitely worth visiting. There was an option to pay €5 to enter the church, and again, we felt it was well worth the money. Lunch was okay and sufficient, although nothing particularly special. At Dwejra Bay, we took a short boat trip to see the caves. At €5, this was another worthwhile extra and gave us the opportunity to see the coastline and caves from the water. We also passed the famous salt pans, where seawater is left to evaporate in large shallow pools before the salt is harvested. We were told that the salt produced there is supposed to be particularly good. On our return journey, we stopped at the Blue Lagoon for some time, which was a welcome opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear water, cool off and relax. As you would expect from such a popular attraction, there were quite a few boats around, but there was still plenty of space for us to enjoy a swim. Overall, it was a very enjoyable day and a great way to see Gozo. The buggy made the experience particularly memorable, and Ian's knowledge and enthusiasm added a lot to the tour. There were a few additional costs along the way, but in our opinion, they were well worth paying for the experiences they provided.
Response from the operator: Good Morning Thank you for the lovely review.

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 327 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mellieha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mellieha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mellieha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
