Read the small print!
Quite an odd experience for us. The initial welcome was not great. Three tuktuks appeared and there was a large crowd of people stood around. Most seemed to be speaking spanish. The three drivers were busy discussing things. I attempted to speak to one of them, but was ignored. I then wondered if we were in the correct place. As we had , as it now transpires, wrongly assumed we would be in a tuktuk on our own. We stood away from the group and I searched for a contact number to work out the name and contact info of the company we had booked with. It transpired we were in the right place and one of the tuktuks was for us, but another couple were to join us. I explained I was not happy as assumed we would not be travelling around with strangers. Our options were don't go and no refund or lump it. We decided to lump it. All three tuktuks set off together. We travelled around and stopped at various locations. The driver was lovely and attentive. Overall , other than the initial misunderstanding it was an OK experience. Not the best not the worst. Not a great deal of commentary describing sights as we drove around. We did try to speak to the business about our feelings. But as I’m sure you will see, in their response to this note. They are quite patronising and dismissive. Such is life. My advice, as indeed the Company also shared with me, read the small print before booking with this Company!

Malaga - Tuk Tuk Tour
Started off with a "scheduling snafu". Several weeks in advance we booked and confirmed a 4:30pm time and while we were on our trip, we were contacted a few days before asking us to change to another day. Since we were on a cruise that was impossible to do; so, they offered us 6:30pm, which caused some inconvenience. The meeting point was difficult to locate since we were given multiple links to the location, 2 conflicting and 1 that did not work. 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure we received a message that they were running late. After all of this, Jesus, did do a good job showing us different parts of town. We would have rated the tour higher if we would not have had all the upfront issues.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We find it surprising that, despite acknowledging that Jesús provided a good tour and showed you different parts of Málaga, the overall experience is judged primarily on logistical matters that were resolved before the activity even began. 💙🛺 When the original time became unavailable, we offered an alternative rather than cancelling your tour outright, which many operators would have done. We understand that a schedule change can be inconvenient, but the alternative was provided specifically so you could still enjoy the experience during your cruise stop. Regarding the meeting point, hundreds of guests locate it successfully every week using the same instructions and links provided. We are sorry if you found them confusing, but they are generally clear and effective for the vast majority of visitors. In the end, the tour itself took place, and by your own account the guide delivered a good experience. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to Málaga. ☀️💨

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Malaga: Tuk tuk tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Malaga: Tuk tuk tour cost?
+
Prices start at $34 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Malaga: Tuk tuk tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Malaga: Tuk tuk tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Malaga: Tuk tuk tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Malaga: Tuk tuk tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Malaga: Tuk tuk tour?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Malaga: Tuk tuk tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
