Just transportation
Nothing more than a city bus with very few decent seats and maybe 10 minutes of narration. Not a tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Our hop-on hop-off service is designed as a flexible sightseeing option, allowing passengers to explore the city at their own pace while listening to recorded commentary that highlights key points of interest along the route. We understand that expectations may vary, and we regret that the onboard experience and duration of the commentary did not feel sufficient in your case. Your comments regarding seating and the overall tour experience will be taken into account as we continue working to improve our service. We appreciate your visit and hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

We weren't able to take...
We weren't able to take this excursion because the place to pick up the voucher was in another part of the city that we couldn't get to in time. It would have been better to be able to get the voucher at one of the stops the bus made on its route.
Response from the operator: Dear Charles, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were unable to join the excursion due to the voucher collection point and the time constraints you faced. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when visiting the city on a limited schedule. We appreciate your suggestion regarding more convenient pick-up options at the bus stops, and we will take your comments into consideration as we continue to review and improve our guest experience. Kind regards, City Sightseeing Team

Horrible service
We went to go to bus by port to start our tour but they close the door and we are sold out until 1:39 in afternoon thus was 10 in the morning we couldn’t wait that long and I send message to driver in morning but no response we need to get a refund horrible service
Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience with our City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to find the bus full and unavailable at that time, especially after planning your visit. We also regret that you did not receive a timely response to your message, as clear communication is very important to us. Your comments have been shared with our local team in Malaga so we can review what happened and improve our service, particularly during busy periods at the port. Regarding your refund request, we kindly recommend contacting the platform where you made your booking so your case can be properly reviewed. Despite this experience, Malaga offers many wonderful things to enjoy, such as visiting the Alcazaba of Malaga, exploring the Malaga Cathedral, or relaxing along the beautiful waterfront at Muelle Uno. We sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the enjoyable and seamless experience that City Sightseeing is known for in over 100 destinations worldwide. Thank you for your feedback. Best regards, Quality Department

Malaga hoponhopoff
Worst hoponhopoff ever. Waited over an hour for the ride to start. And overall very long time for the next bus to arrive. Which lead to a minimum of places to see. Nope, never again..

Don’t book here in this county. Find another company!!
One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a company. We waited at one stop for 2 hours and no bus came. We took an uber to the next stop. We finished at this stop 2 hours later, and still had to wait another hour for the bus. They called it service interruption. Which means service completely stops. We paid extra for the ultimate service and missed everything because of the service interruption. The drivers were rude, and the person assisting the drivers were not even helpful. If I could, I would give this company a -10. I don’t suggest anyone to use this company. I sent an email to the customer service department. I still have not heard back from them. On the departure bus, I was sitting on the top deck and the canopy cover by the stairs was broken and had small rusty nails sticking out all along the side or it. I didn’t see it until the bus moved and the canopy cover moved and jabbed my finger. I immediately sanitized my finger as I had no idea if the rusty nail would create an infection. This was very unsafe bus and should not be in service. Or at least the top deck should be fixed before allowing people to sit there. The canopy wasn’t even tied back and we were the first tour of the day. I would not waste one single penny on this company in any other city again. The next day we were in a different city, saw the same company and we literally ran away. We used another company. Worst customer service, worst experience with a tour company
Response from the operator: Dear Customer, First of all, we want to sincerely apologise for the very poor experience you had with our service in Málaga. We are deeply concerned to hear about the long waits, the issues with the bus, and your safety concern with the canopy. This is far from the standard of service we aim to provide. Please rest assured that your feedback has been escalated to our local operations team. We take incidents like this extremely seriously and would appreciate it if you could contact us directly at info@city-sightseeing.es so we can gather more details and investigate thoroughly, including the bus safety issue, driver conduct, and service interruptions. We are very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience caused. Although we cannot change what happened, we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can take immediate action to prevent similar experiences in the future. Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to improve.

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 146 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour?
+
Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Malaga Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Malaga Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
