About this experience
My purpose is not only to guide you through the Picasso Malaga Museum, but to help you understand deeply each work, connect with the essence of Picasso and live the museum in a way that few can offer. As an official guide with years of experience in the museum itself and a contemporary artist, my gaze goes beyond the data: I will show you the details that often go unnoticed, the hidden symbols, the emotions behind each stroke. On this tour you can enjoy a guided tour of the 12 rooms of Picasso’s Permanent Collection with personalized attention and a close atmosphere, where I will present you with a global overview of all Picasso’s work, technique and styles throughout his life. It is this combination of technical knowledge, artistic sensitivity and close treatment that transforms a simple visit into an eye-opening experience. It lasts approximately 1 hour. If you wish later you can stay and explore the museum on your own.

Picasso Museum Tour with Monica
This tour was fantastic. Monica our guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The museum is beautiful. If you are an art fan, this tour is a must. If you aren't an art person, this tour is still a great experience!
Response from the operator: Hi Steve, thank you for sharing such a lovely message. I’m truly glad the visit left such a positive impression. Guiding you through the museum was a joy, and it means a lot to know the experience spoke to you—whether you came as an art enthusiast or simply with an open mind. Your kind words are sincerely appreciated. Kind Regards, Mónica.

Wonderful insightful commentary from a Picasso expert. Highly recommend.
Loved how this included our tickets so we were met by our lovely guide at the front of the museum who popped in to purchase our tickets for us and we were able to walk straight in. All very seamless. I find walking around museums and art galleries very boring to be honest - my back usually starts hurting and having to queue to read title labels really dull so it was wonderful to have our guide’s voice in our ears (easy to use headphones) describing what we were seeing in just the right amount of detail and clearly with a lot of background knowledge of her subject. After our tour, we wandered the museum looking at the temporary art exhibition and checking out the basement foundations dating back from different ages. It was a perfectly enjoyable and informative few hours and I can highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Hi Sarah! Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I’m delighted the tour felt smooth from the very first moment. I’m glad the stories and background details helped bring the artworks to life. It was a pleasure guiding you. Warm Regards, Mónica.

Very good small group tour of the Museum
A very good knowledgeable guide, telling us a lot of background and interesting information about many of the paintings in the museum, as we went through the rooms. She was very engaging. The use of some earphones meant that despite background noise we were usually able to hear her clearly The guide was prepared to answer questions. I would recommend
Response from the operator: Dear Rebecca, Thank you very much for your kind words. I’m delighted to know the visit felt enriching and easy to follow. It was a pleasure to guide you and to share that time with you. I truly appreciate your recommendation. Best Regards, Mónica.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 44 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Malaga: Picasso Museum Small Group Art Expert Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
