Amazing experience
excellent experience with the company Pearl of the Atlantic. Guide Duarte was very professional and informative. I recommend the company to anyone who wants to get to know the island privately and with great quality, almost in a family environment.

cant say it enough, go private.
A drive through the banana-growing region and up into the mountain, and the view changes. Fantastic valleys and mountains, of course, and the diversity of the greenery is awesome. The power station was closed so we did part of a Levada walk instead, so nice, the pictures..wow. The Laurissilva forest area we stopped at, was a picnic area with churrasco (BBQ) for everyone to use for free. It was so nice almost troll-like with the bent and branched Laurel Trees ( think bay leaf). Again Marcos and Francisco did a great job to make us feel comfortable, informed, and amused. Thank you for yet another wonderful tour.
