    Experienced not fulfilled

We were unable to get tickets to go into the sanctuary, your system should not have allowed us to book if the tickets were not already secured. We went to the sanctuary just to see it from the outer limits but was not much to see this was very disappointing.

A very well organized way to do Machu Picchu in one day

We had a great time on our full day trip to Machu Picchu. Everything was well arranged and we communicated through whatsapp in the lead up to our trip and on the day. We received all our tickets through whatsapp as well which was super convenient to have handy on the day. We stayed in the Sacred Valley the night before so we didn't have to come all the way from Cusco which I recommend as it is a long day. The driver picked us up from the hotel exactly at 5am, we stored our luggage (for free) with Peru Rail at the station, took the 6:10am train to Machu Picchu and were greeted by another representative to take us to the bus. Once arrived at the entrance they recognised us and we had a great tour with our guide Katy in circuit 3. She was super friendly, gave us lots of insights and she took us back to the train station so the visit was really smooth. We took the panoramic train back which was fun, and the driver met us at the station to drive to Cusco. Everything was very convenient and well organized. It is a long day and I recommend bringing water (also for the altitude) and some snacks as its a very early start and there is not really any time for lunch (you do get a cereal bar and cookies on the train back). The road from Cusco to Ollantaytambo (train station) is not great so it's a bit of a bumpy ride. We bought an empanada at the Ollantaytambo train station to eat on the way back to Cusco as we only got to the hotel around 3pm.

    Excellent customer service

Outstanding customer service, and they gave us a tailored service for what we needed - just Machu Pichu entry tickets, bus and guide, at a very good price. Incredible full day Machu Picchu tour with Manuel

An absolutely unforgettable day at Machu Picchu with Manuel from Explore 360. He was so knowledgable about the history , architecture, and mystries of the Incas, bringing every corner of the site to life. Manuel paced the tour perfectly, made sure we had time for photos, and answered all our questions with genuine passion. Its clear he loves what he does. Machu Picchu itself is breathtaking, but having a guide like Manuel made it even more special experience.

    A tour company that cares!

I cannot begin to explain how impressed I was with the service provided by Explora Tours, but specifically I want to shout out Eleazar. They tenuinely want to help you have rhe best experience possible - that is their biggest priority. Not only did he provide profound support throughout every step of the Machu Picchu trip but actively helped me with other activities I’d mentioned wanting to do in passing. He even asked how the experience was after each activity! This passion for their job, dedication and genuity is rarely found these days. Thank you so much🫶🏼

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day cost?

    +

Prices start at $450 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day take?

    +

Plan for about 18 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 18-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 18-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Machu Picchu Premium Tour, Train, Private Guide, all-inclusive, 1 day start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
