    Great small group trip

Ramon our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. Taking us to his home town of Alora to see the town/church/castle, followed by a vineyard tour, wine tasting (4 types) and tapas. I appreciated the veggie tapas that I had requested. There were 6 of us on the small group tour which meant we could ask lots of questions. Ramon spoke in English and Spanish. We appreciated the latter as we are learning Spanish and Ramon helped us. Ramon dropped me a "pin" the day before for pick up and kept in touch until pick up.

    Great Alora !

This was unexpectedly good tour with very good English speaking guide, Ramon. Alora history was eye-opening and sceneries were serene and peaceful. Wine tasting was experimental but great atmosphere. We enjoyed very much. Small group made more fun towards the end of the tour. Thanks!

    Fun and Friendly Wine Tour

Ramon was our guide and he grew up in Àlora. He told us just enough to keep it breezy but informative at the museum, church, castle, and vineyard. The tasting at the winery was in a pretty room at a long attractively presented table with good wine in stemware, local cheeses and meats. Great price for the day, too. Without hesitation, I suggest you go on this small family run tour in the mini van and avoid the bigger busses to the bigger sights. "Local Roots" says it all... Homegrown Mijas food, wine, and guide. Fantastic trip. Ps one tiny comment for next time, offer the guests bottled water or stop at a little market

    Great Experience

Álora is very charming and the views are stunning. The guided tour with Ramón was informative yet relaxed, and felt really warm and personal. The local wine tasting was delicious, perfectly paired with tapas. Highly recommended for a laid-back, authentic day out!

    Nice Trip, good guide

This trip was very relaxed & it was good to know that our guide was a local of Alora. The drive from our pick up in Malaga was approximately 40 mins, we first stopped at the museum for a comfort break then a walk in the village with history, then to see the church (stunning) & museum. We then drove up to the castle for great views & more history. Then to the vineyard (was a bit dormant in Jan) before then travelling back for wine tasting. The ‘tapas’ good but could have added bread & tortilla to help soak the wine. Overall very pleasant trip

Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.

How much does Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings cost?

    +

Prices start at $106 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.

Is Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Málaga Small‑Group Wine Tour – Álora Castle Views & 4 Tastings start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Malaga?

    +

On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Malaga?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Malaga?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
