Disappointing
We chose this company for our Northern Lights tour because of the good reviews and the expectation of a memorable experience. Unfortunately, our experience was well below what we had anticipated. We completely understand that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and that sightings can never be guaranteed. Our disappointment is not related to that. The issue for us was the overall value of the experience compared to the price paid. Considering the high cost of the tour, we expected a more engaging and complete experience. In our case, the tour felt quite limited and did not reflect the premium price charged. There are several companies offering Northern Lights tours in Iceland, and based on our experience, we believe other operators may provide a more interesting experience for a similar price. Even using a 4x4 Super Jeep. We are sharing this feedback simply to help future travelers set their expectations when choosing a Northern Lights tour.

That said, if it felt limited to you, then we clearly did not deliver the level of engagement you were hoping for, and for that we are genuinely sorry. Regarding vehicle type, we use well equipped minibuses rather than Super Jeeps because Northern Lights viewing typically takes place on paved or regularly maintained roads. The focus is usually on clear skies rather than off road access. However, we fully respect that different travelers prefer different formats and styles. Amazing Northern Lights Experience
An amazing small group tour to see the Northern Lights. Whilst there are no guarantees, our guide, Simon, was determined to do his absolute best to find the ideal spot and give us the best chance of success. He was genuinely enthusiastic and has a clear love of photography. Simon took excellent photos of us all, with the Lights dancing in the background. He had such patience! It was great fun and delicious hot chocolate was served. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend.

Such a special evening !
Can’t recommend this company and tour enough. Devon our guide was such a lovely and charismatic guy, funny and very knowledgeable on photography, the night sky and of course the aurora. His experience and desire for us to have a special evening was apparent from pick up and thanks to him and to the lights we were treated to a truly wonderful and memorable display. I only wish I’d booked with East West and specifically Devon for my other nights tour as my experience was far superior compared to that with another company. I also had a great experience with EW on their Golden Circle tour. Don’t hesitate, just book it !

Amazing
We did the tour with our guide Gummi who was brilliant , nothing was too much trouble he wanted nothing more than for us to have the best time . He was so full of knowledge and we were so lucky that that northern lights came out for us . The photos we will treasure and the blankets were very welcome to keep out the wind.
