Luxor visit

We wake up at 2:30am, first at the bus and plenty of hotel pick-ups are very tiring visit to Luxor is an amazing experience Our tour guide Abdul is so money minded better avoid him Food is better than Cairo tour Fee and length of visit are ok

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your honest feedback 🌟 We truly appreciate you taking the time to describe your experience. First of all, we understand that waking up at 2:30 AM and the multiple hotel pick-ups can feel tiring. Because of the long distance between Hurghada and Luxor, early departure is necessary to avoid traffic and high daytime temperatures — but we completely understand that it can be exhausting, especially at the beginning of the day. We’re very happy to hear that your visit to Luxor was an amazing experience 🤍 The historical sites in Luxor are truly unforgettable, and we’re glad you enjoyed the food and felt that the fee and visit duration were fair and well organized. Regarding your comment about the guide, we sincerely apologize if you felt uncomfortable at any point. This is absolutely not the standard of service we aim to provide. At E.T.O TRAVELS, guest satisfaction, professionalism, and respectful service always come first. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will carefully review this matter internally to ensure continuous improvement. We truly value your opinion, as it helps us grow and deliver even better experiences in the future. Thank you again for choosing E.T.O TRAVELS, and we hope to welcome you again on another unforgettable journey in Egypt

Not recommended you go with a child under 5.

To bring a child under 5 years old is not recommended, everything need to be in time and fast, they don’t even let you breathe and compassion that walking with a child and very hot, not easy, need everything fast!

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write us a review of our trip. We apologize for your misunderstanding , even though we did our trip from A to Z as described . However, you were accompanied by a small child under the age of five who screamed and cried a lot. Is that our problem? Or would you like our representative and guide to act as your babysitter throughout the trip? It's unreasonable to unfairly judge our trip and the organization of our trip. Despite the problem with your small child, we should have complained to you first, as he caused inconvenience to all our guests throughout the trip due to his constant screaming and crying on the bus. But we hope to see you soon, and we can compensate you for any shortcomings on our part. Thank you.

Honest review

I went on this excursion with my 14 year old son. The bus picked us up from our resort at 5am. The bus itself was good, air conditioned and clean. Now for the not so great parts. On the way there from time to time the bus driver would smoke on the bus. He opened his window but nevertheless it was unprofessional. There were no toilet/rest stops on our way there. Only on the way back to the Resort. I have a weak bladder so I didn't drink anything on my way there when I realised we were not making any stops. When we reached the Valley of The Kings etc. It was beautiful and I would recommend. The tour guides were friendly. However, everything was rushed as we had to stick to a tight schedule and I felt we didn't have a chance to learn much about the history and artifacts. However, this was not the guides fault its just a tight schedule. Our guide was Abdul and he was friendly. My only suggestion would be that he should have a flag or something he could hold in the air so we don't get lost in large crowds whilst following behind him. At times I was more focused on not getting lost so I couldn't take in the sights around me. We stopped at a restaurant and had a meal. It was not an oriental meal as described but it was OK. The restaurant was clean. Beverages aren't included in the meal price. I didn't do the nile river boat tour, therefore my son and I had to go with another group to the valley of the queen's. This was a very quick stop and I didn't learn as much historical facts as this group were not English speaking. I'd recommend a translation app for your phone. I would recommend that you do as much historical research as you can before going on this excursion so you can learn more about the monuments, Kings and Queens.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration. We can confirm that the vehicle was dispatched at the scheduled time and was at the agreed-upon pick-up location. Our team did everything possible to ensure that the service was provided as planned. We apologize if there was any confusion regarding the communication or the room number, and we understand how important it is to ensure a smooth experience for all of our guests. We take all customer concerns seriously, and we regret that your experience did not meet expectations. If there was any issue with timing or communication, we will investigate it further to prevent similar occurrences in the future. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to serve you in the future.

So fast trip

Luxor is amazing but we could have more time to see the whole city, too fast. The open buffet was not good enough but it is ok for one day.

We appreciate your high evaluation of our service, staff and organization. Looking forward to seeing you again here! Best regards.

LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens ): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Safaga.

How much does LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens ) cost?

+

Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Safaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens ) take?

+

Plan for about 18 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Safaga is not rushed.

Is LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens ) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Safaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens )?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens ) suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 18-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens )?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Safaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Safaga and add a light layer if any part of the 18-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does LUXOR By Big Bus From Hurghada ( valley of the Kings or Valley of the Queens ) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Safaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Safaga?

+

On Outty we rank every Safaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Horse Riding & Camel Beach,Desert, Swim,Sunrise & Sunset-Hurghada, Dolphin House Full Day Snorkeling Cruise With Lunch – Hurghada, Orange Bay Giftun Island Snorkeling Cruise With Lunch – Hurghada. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Safaga?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Safaga?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
