I dont even know where to begin. Communication is non existent. I literally texted and called them all day because they never reached out. I ended up taking an uber to the location, on a whim. The directions say ring the bell. Well no one answered. Luckily, or unluckily for me, an older gentleman was coming outside. I called out to him and told him I was there for a Lucha Libre experience. He directed me to the back. I explained who I was and that I had been contacting them to see if the tour was going to continue. They responded back to my whatsapp message at 7:01 pm for a tour that started at 7:00. Then lied to Viator and said they sent all communication the day before and responded promptly when I called. Moving on. The first part of the experience is a history lesson, snacks and drinks(beer or mezcal) . The positives are the lady who is the guide. She really knows her stuff and is funny. You can also tell that she is passionate about Lucha Libre. You will spend about 2 HOURS at the house. The wrestler does arrive and that experience is ok too. He is entertaining. However he has merchandise to sell you so take that however you want. After everyone uses the bathroom and buys merchandise, we are rushed to the arena. We are probably rushed because we have spent 2 whole hours at the house. We arrive for the last match. Literally ONE match. When Viator contacted the operator they said “it is stated that you will only watch the last portion - or main match”. That was never stated. Who would book a lucha libre experience to only experience one lucha libre event? It was the dishonesty for me. I also looked at the tickets. It was 300 mxn which is about $16. You’re better off buying the tickets yourself and actually experiencing the entire thing rather than booking this tour. It was literally my worst experience in Mexico City and the one that I was most excited about.

RUN far away from this company. I contacted them via Viator, email and Whatsapp because they never contacted me regarding the tour. It was literally the day of and they would not respond. So I followed the directions on the confirmation- ring the doorbell. Guess what? No one answered. I saw an older man opening a door and told him I was there Lucha Libre. He let me in and told me to go upstairs. We did meet a wrestler but he also came with merchandise and sold it so take that into consideration. The thing that frustrated me the most was that we spent 2 hours at the house. By the time we got to the arena, we saw only ONE match! Everything was so rushed and chaotic with this company. Not organized at all. The only bright spot was Marielle(Mariella?) who was very knowledgeable about Lucha Libre. The final blow was when I checked the tickets they gave us. They paid $300 mxn for the tickets. Roughly $16 USD. But the tour itself was $75. Highway robbery! There were 10 customers tonight. $750 USD for ONE match, a carrot tostada and a beer.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.
How much does Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.
Is Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lucha Libre VIP Meet and Greet start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mexico City?
+
On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mexico City?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mexico City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
