About this experience

We are a group of passionate artists and anthropologists who loves Lucha Libre show since little children. We've been doing this experience for a long time, so today we already know which details make you really enjoy the matches, even you don't know anything about them. We will teach you what to yell and how we Mexicans interact with the wrestlers during the show. What makes this experience unique is the personal and friendly attention, but also sharing the passion for wrestling from a Visual Artist, musician, psychologist or anthropologist who admires the characterisation and masks. We also have to say that we really love to meet people from the whole world and share Mexican Popular culture such as the Lucha Libre. That allows us to know more, understand different ways of thinking and making culture, which we think is real human richness. Fer, Leo and Sam

Lucha Libra experience

This was a great experience starting off with a beer and some tacos was been explained about the history of Lucha Libre and what to expect of the matches. Our guide Fernanda was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful . The actual Luche Libra matches were very entertaining and very loud.

A brilliant night out and a proper cultural experience

Loved this. It's the perfect way to see Lucha Libre for the first time, and our host made the whole thing. Friendly, passionate and full of knowledge. You could tell they genuinely love this stuff, and it rubbed off on the whole group. Before the show we had tacos and a beer while getting the history of Lucha Libre explained: the origins, the characters, what the chants mean and how to get involved. It really set you up so you weren't just watching, you understood what was going on. Nice touch getting a souvenir mask to keep too. Then the show itself was fantastic. Loud, energetic, so much fun. The group vibe was great as well, a nice mix of people all there for the same thing, which added to the atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially if you've never been. You could technically go on your own, but you'd miss all the context and the fun of doing it with a good guide and a good group. Go and enjoy.

Very good food and show.

We had an amazing experience at the Lucha Libre wrestling show! The atmosphere was exciting and full of energy, and the wrestlers put on an incredible performance. It was such a fun and memorable experience. The tacos were also delicious—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The combination of great food and exciting wrestling made for a perfect evening. A special thank you to our wonderful lady guide. She was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and she made us feel welcome throughout the entire experience. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Great wrestling, delicious tacos, and an excellent guide. I highly recommend it

Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist cost?

+

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 230 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist?

+

Around 81 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lucha Libre wrestling show, tacos and beer with artist start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
