A wonderful tour, the...

A wonderful tour, the guide was very passionate and knowledgeable of the Louvre. Gave great presentations of the art we viewed and kept me interested during the whole tour.

Florian would be our choice of tour guides again!

Florian was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and showed us a great deal of detail while viewing the artists work.

Louvre tour could have been better

Our tour guide wasn’t the most personable person we’ve toured with on this trip soft spoken and difficult to follow. There were 6 of us on this tour and the guide only brought 4 audio devices, so I was one of the folks who just walked along side the group. When asked questions he did have the knowledge.

Our Louvre experience

Cannot remember the fella’s name who took us around but he was the highlight of the experience. Very passionate and knowledgeable about every piece he showed us and any questions we had he would answer with ease. It was a busy Saturday so trying to see the Mona Lisa was a bit of a nightmare but too be honest we were not that bothered as there was so much more to see than just that.

Response from the operator: Bonjour Ali, What a pleasure to read your feedback! We are delighted to hear that your guide was the highlight of your experience and that his passion and knowledge brought the Louvre’s incredible collection to life. Being able to answer your questions with ease and share the stories behind the artworks is exactly the kind of experience we want our guests to enjoy. We are also pleased that, despite the busy Saturday and the crowds around the Mona Lisa, you were able to appreciate how much more there is to discover throughout the museum. The Louvre is filled with remarkable masterpieces and fascinating stories beyond its most famous painting! At France Tourisme, our guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping travelers discover the richness of Parisian culture. For another memorable cultural experience, we would be delighted to welcome you on a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or invite you to enjoy a sunset Champagne cruise along the Seine. Cordialement, Alice de France Tourisme

We hit the lotto with our personalized tour

We hit the jackpot with Sinsin (spelling?). We booked a small group tour and the other family didn't show. We ended having a personal tour. Our guide was VERY educated, having his national certification. Got to see the Bug 3 and then her used the rest of the time showing us several pieces and sharing his wealth of knowledge. After the 2 hours, we the had the remainder of the day to wonder the museum on our own. Highly recommend and request Sinsin.

Response from the operator: Bonjour, What a wonderful surprise! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are thrilled to hear that your small-group tour turned into such a special, almost private experience, and that your guide made the visit truly memorable with his expertise and passion for the Louvre. It is fantastic to know that you enjoyed discovering the museum’s iconic masterpieces while also having the opportunity to explore other works in greater depth thanks to your guide’s knowledge. We are especially pleased that his professional certification and engaging explanations added so much value to your visit. We will be delighted to share your kind words with him! At France Tourisme, we love helping travelers discover the Louvre beyond its most famous masterpieces, through stories, details, and the passion of our guides. For your next Parisian adventure, we would be delighted to welcome you on a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or take you on a sunset Champagne cruise along the Seine. Cordialement, Alice de France Tourisme

Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.

How much does Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access cost?

+

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.

Is Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 569 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access?

+

Around 199 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Louvre Museum Small-Group Guided Tour with Masterpieces & Access start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

+

Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Paris?

+

April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Paris?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
