Lourdes Private Day Trip Tour :)
Communication through Viator app was clear. We were picked up and returned to our hotel in a timely manner (traffic dependent). Despite the minimal English of both our drivers, they were extremely lovely. Our local tour guide Nat(h)alie met us at Lourdes airport. She was super sweet and very knowledgeable!! There is quite a bit of walking involved so if travelling during the heat please make sure to keep hydrated and bring a hat. There was plenty of time (flexibility) to appreciate the Grotto, Basilica, have lunch, and even have some ice cream or fit in a tiny bit of souvenir shopping towards the end. There is also adequate time to take photos if you are efficient. People were able to attend the Rosary if they wanted to. Everyone was able to purchase and take home little bottles (total of 1L) of Holy water as well. Overall, it was a very reflective and blessed experience. Would highly recommend. :)

Once in a lifetime opportunity for stress free trip to Lourdes.
Our day trip from Paris to Lourdes was seamless and a pleasure. We were a family of 5 ranging in age from 60 to 71. Our trip had to be moved from Friday to Saturday due to track repairs, but we were able to accommodate. We were booked on a flight for Saturday morning and then took the train back to Paris. We were picked up at our hotel right on time and brought to Orly airport where our guide accompanied us up to security and told us of our gate number. It was very stress free. When we landed in Tarbes around 945am, we walked out of airport and our guide Natalie was waiting for us. She spent the next 8 hours with us. We had a comprehensive tour including the village of Lourdes, Bernadette’s homes, the museum, the magnificent grotto and beautiful churches. We had time to recite the English rosary at the grotto which was wonderful. Natalie brought to a nice restaurant where our family had a delightful lunch. And the day was made even more special as it was military weekend at Lourdes so there were military personnel from all over the globe paying homage to our Lady that weekend including the Swiss Guard! Natalie was extremely informative and flexible accommodating all our wishes. She brought us to the train station precisely on time and accompanied us to the train platform and ensured we boarded the train cabin. She went above and beyond. We arrived about five hours later in the Paris train station. Our driver sent me his coordinates of his vehicle shortly before we arrived. The Paris train station is very big and a bit disorienting if you are not familiar with it. I suggest you use his coordinates in google maps to orient yourself in the station and to find where the driver is parked. We found him within ten minutes and he dropped us off in front of our hotel. A once in a life time opportunity and we are so happy we visited Lourdes. I would recommend to anyone.
Response from the operator: thank you and your review is our best reward. God bless you and all your family

We had the wonderful time...
We had a wonderful time in Lourdes. Geovana was absolutely professional and very like family to us. She showed, and explained more than I thought was possible in a one day pilgrimage. Thank you very much for a memorable experience.

Day at Lourdes
Our train travel from Paris to Lourdes tickets were upgraded to first class which we loved. The driver that picked us up in the morning to take us to the station was excellent. He kindly purchased our morning coffees and lead us to the platform were we needed to be for the train ride and waited to ensure that we boarded correctly. He was then waiting for us when we arrived late in the evening, almost midnight, to take us back to our accomodation. We had a private tour with a very friendly, accomodating and knowledgable guide, Giovana. She was a great patient guide. It was a very costly day and adventure but well worth it. All up, we had an excellent time!

LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train cost?
+
Prices start at $295 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train take?
+
Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 14-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does LOURDES : COME FOR A DAY - Private Day-trip from PARIS by High Speed Train start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
