Awesome Experience
Fantastic experience. I did two dives at Los Arcos and also a refresher dive in the swimming pool Gustavo and Israel are the best dive masters I've ever worked with. Safety was first-rate and the instructions were excellent; I became a better diver thanks to the help of the staff. Saw some really beautiful sea life and everything was punctual and organized. Would definitely go again.
Response from the operator: Hola Zak, Thank you so much for your amazing review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a fantastic diving experience at Los Arcos and that the refresher dive helped you feel more confident underwater. It’s wonderful to know Gustavo and Israel made such a strong impression—our team will be very happy to hear your kind words about their professionalism, safety focus, and instruction. We’re also glad you enjoyed the beautiful sea life and that everything was well organized and on time. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back for another unforgettable dive adventure! 😊 Warm regards,

Good eating spot, great service
Giving this restaurant a 5 star review. The atmosphere is phenomenal. The food was excellent, but most of all. Our server Miguel went above and beyond to provide us exceptional service. Miguel was so friendly and even had the staff sing happy birthday to my hubby. We will definitely go back.
Response from the operator: Hola Karen, Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the phenomenal atmosphere, excellent food, and especially Miguel’s exceptional service. We’re thrilled he made your husband’s birthday so special. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another memorable visit soon! 😊 Warm regards,

Fun dive at Las Caletas
Well-organized, professional, and fun operation with knowledgeable staff. We went scuba diving at Las Caletas near Puerto Vallarta. The first dive site, located near the docks, was fairly underwhelming. However, the second dive more than made up for it—we were lucky enough to see a manta ray, which was incredible. One important note: pay close attention to the details, as the trip can become quite expensive once add-ons are included. These may include a dive refresher, equipment rental for both the refresher and the actual dive, and other extras. Make sure your last dive was within the past 12 months to avoid additional costs. While Viator does specify what’s included, the extra charges can add up quickly. On a positive note, I had to change the schedule and trip details, and Viator’s customer service handled everything efficiently. I called directly, and all scheduling issues were resolved promptly.
Response from the operator: Hola, Thank you for your detailed review! We’re glad you enjoyed the scuba diving experience at Las Caletas and were able to see a manta ray on your second dive. We appreciate your notes about additional costs and scheduling, and we’re happy Viator’s customer service helped make your changes seamless. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable dive 😊 Warm regards,

Scuba diving not a strength
This is NOT a 5 star operation. They are well organized but if you want to have a professional dive experience go elsewhere. We dove with them twice and rented equipment. It is a full service operation where the crew does everything for you but that means rushing and not listening and cutting corners. We’re experienced divers and the rental equipment was very ragged compared to other places we have rented from. My BCD was missing Velcro’s leading to things floating in my face. The wet suits were wet from prior use and very used./ripped/strings. They wouldn’t listen to me on how much weight I needed and insisted that I put on the belt. This caused me to be overweighted and struggling with buoyancy the whole time even when I asked them to remove weights. We had just dove a month prior in Costa Rica with a 7m suit so I was aware of my needs. My bf was told to get in and they had not turned on his air- he caught that in the rush to be suited up. Some others on our trip had trouble in the decent and we were handed a rope and bouy at the bottom were told to wait there by the guide. We waited for 15 minutes standing at the bottom of the ocean for the guide to finally come back giving us a 10 minute dive since one of the people waiting with us got to 1000 PSI which required all of us to ascend. They also have no problem diving in terrible viz conditions- which would have been nice to know in advance to choose whether or not to go. Most reputable dive operations will not take you if you cannot see. I get it. It’s Mexico— but we’ve dove in other areas with much better business operations.
Response from the operator: Hola Nina, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your scuba diving experience did not meet your expectations and that equipment and safety concerns impacted your dive. We take all comments seriously and will review your concerns regarding gear condition, weighting, and dive supervision with our team to ensure improvements. Your feedback is invaluable for helping us enhance safety, communication, and overall dive experiences for all guests. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in the future. Warm regards,

Divinng Banderas Bay
I went diving with my 17 year old daughter and had a fantastic time. It was the second time diving with Banderas Scuba Republic and we will definitely be back. Our dive masters Eric and Adam were excellent! We hadn't dove in a few years however they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend diving with them!!
Response from the operator: Hola, Thank you so much for sharing your diving experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that you and your daughter had a fantastic time exploring Banderas Bay together and that this was another great visit with us. Eric and Adam will be thrilled to know they helped you feel comfortable and relaxed after some time away from diving. Creating safe, enjoyable, and memorable underwater experiences is always our goal. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you both back again very soon!😊 Warm regards,

Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Puerto Vallarta.
How much does Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta cost?
+
Prices start at $119 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Puerto Vallarta usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Puerto Vallarta is not rushed.
Is Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 136 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Puerto Vallarta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Around 48 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Puerto Vallarta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Puerto Vallarta and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Los Arcos Scuba Dive with a 5-Star PADI Center in Puerto Vallarta start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Puerto Vallarta within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta?
+
On Outty we rank every Puerto Vallarta experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Winner 2026 Downtown Vallarta Food Tour with Vallarta Food Tours, Signature Taco Tour in PV with Vallarta Eats, Food & Mixology Tour:Tequila,Tacos, Mezcal and Agave Cocktails. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Puerto Vallarta?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Puerto Vallarta?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
