Great till bear park
The Tetons and Yellowstone were amazing. It was well organized and always on time. The issue I had was Yellowstone Bear world in Idaho which I do not think is actually associated with Yellowstone. It was a start contrast to Yellowstone and it’s conservation efforts. This is a place that breeds the Bears to be on display. We someone grizzly confined to a small area with a wire fence around it, and it was situated right next to the road for a great view. The poor bear just paced back-and-forth in a very small area and it was heartbreaking. Then they have cubs that you can bottle feed, and this is obviously for entertainment purposes only and not conservation. It was very sad to see these majestic animals in this environment being used for entertainment.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We are delighted to hear that you found the Tetons and Yellowstone amazing, and that you appreciated the organization and punctuality of the tour. That is exactly the standard we strive for. However, we are deeply sorry to learn about your distressing experience at Yellowstone Bear World in Idaho. Please know that we will reach out to the management department of Yellowstone National Park to provide feedback on the animal care practices. Thank you for traveling with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to offer you a more consistently positive experience in the future.

Long days but beautiful places covered
The tour started with our guide, Ivan, reaching out to confirm our arrival time and provide instructions on how to meet him. Overall, Ivan was very accommodating, and flexible with unexpected issues such as road or facility closures that affected our original schedules. We were able to visit and take photos at the main highlights of the tour’s itinerary though some days were 11 to 12 hours long. He was also very careful to mind our party, which included seniors who occasionally lagged behind some of the longer hikes. A few constructive feedback from our party: the stop at Jackson could have been shorter to allow more time at Grand Tetons / Jenny Lake. Also, the tour was labeled as English-language, but was primarily conducted in Mandarin as the rest of the small group were comprised of Chinese speakers, at best it should be considered a bilingual tour. We appreciated, though, Ivan’s efforts to explain things directly with our group. The tour was packed, as places were occasionally 1-2 hours apart, which meant quite some time on the van. Just things to keep in mind with this tour package. Overall a beautiful way to spend 4 days.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feedback! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the service we've provided! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Salt Lake City.
How much does Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day cost?
+
Prices start at $1893 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Salt Lake City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Salt Lake City is not rushed.
Is Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Salt Lake City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Salt Lake City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Salt Lake City and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lodging at Old Faithful Yellowstone&Grand Teton Small Group 4-day start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Salt Lake City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Salt Lake City?
+
Salt Lake City is a basecamp: Big and Little Cottonwood canyon hikes and ski shuttles, Antelope Island and Great Salt Lake trips, Park City transfers and Temple Square walking tours. Winter transfer reliability is the single biggest quality signal here. On Outty we rank every Salt Lake City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Salt Lake City Guided Bus Tour, Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square & Salt Lake City Bus Tour, Great Salt Lake Safari - Discover Antelope Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Salt Lake City?
+
December to March for skiing, June to September for canyon hiking. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Salt Lake City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
