Great way to travel from Lisbon to Lagos!!

We got picked up in a really nice, big Mercedes van. Our driver, Tiago, was great! We chatted with him a bunch during the car ride. We had booked 3 stops (7 hours), but used the time just in Evora (Evora’s a bit out of the way, but we had wanted to see it). Tiago drove us around to the sites and then we had a relaxed lunch (at Mercearia Eborim) and then he picked us up from there. My son loves history and Evora was a highlight for him. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Jen, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for choosing our Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer with up to 4 stops. We are delighted to hear that your journey was so enjoyable — from the comfort of our spacious Mercedes van to the friendly conversations with Tiago throughout the drive. It’s fantastic to know that Évora, even being slightly out of the way, became the perfect choice for your day and a true highlight for your son who loves history. Tiago’s guidance, flexibility and smooth coordination clearly helped make the experience meaningful, allowing you to explore the sites at your own pace and enjoy a relaxed lunch at Mercearia Eborim before continuing your trip. We truly appreciate your kind words and are thrilled that the door‑to‑door service and the ability to stop along the way added so much value to your travel day. Warm regards, Meridian4People Team

So much better than the train!

Our family of 8 adults booked this transfer from Lisbon to the Algarve in June of 2026. Lawrence was our driver, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! He arrived promptly. We had some concerns that we had too much luggage and that we would have to sit with it, but Lawrence didn’t get flustered! He “jengaed” all of it the back and under seats of the van in no time! We didn’t have any strong opinions on where we wanted to stop and we trusted Lawrence to take the lead! Our first stop was the castle at Palmela. We had a coffee, enjoyed the beautiful castle, with it’s stunning views and lovely church. We even had a large group of fencers fencing in many different areas of the castle top! Next we went to Alcácer do Sal. We walked along the river and did a little shopping. It was an extremely pretty town. We had lunch at Cantinho do Churrasco in Castro Verde. Lawrence called ahead to have the restaurant stay open for us. It is just a hole in the wall, but I can genuinely say it was our favorite meal during our 2 weeks stay in Portugal! Simple, traditional, inexpensive, and DELICIOUS!! After lunch, we visited Basilica Real de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao in Castro Verde. It is a stunningly beautiful church with blue tiled panels on the walls. There were monk chants and birds singing! A truly lovely and peaceful experience. Our last stop was Vilamoura Marina. After wandering around the marina, Lawrence drove along the Algarve coast toward Albufeira where our Airbnb was located. What a nice day we had. We can’t say enough about what a wonderful guide Lawrence was. He was warm and pleasant and a great driver. We never felt rushed! Even though he planned to drive home all the way to Porto!!! We felt lucky to see things most tourists don’t. And were really glad we splurged on this transfer instead of taking the train.

Response from the operator: Dear dvX7780OF, Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and heartfelt review. We are truly delighted to know that your private transfer from Lisbon to the Algarve became one of the most memorable days of your trip. Lawrence will be thrilled to read your words. His professionalism, calm attitude and genuine care for each guest are exactly what make experiences like this so special. We’re glad he handled the luggage challenge with ease — and even a bit of humor — before guiding your family through a beautifully curated itinerary. It’s wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed each stop: the stunning views and unique atmosphere of Palmela Castle, the charm of Alcácer do Sal, the incredible lunch at Cantinho do Churrasco (a true hidden gem), and the peaceful beauty of the Basilica in Castro Verde. These authentic places are exactly the kind of Portugal we love to share with travelers who want to see beyond the usual routes. Knowing that you felt relaxed, never rushed, and fully taken care of — even on such a long journey — means a lot to our team. Lawrence’s warmth, flexibility and dedication shine through in moments like these, and we’re grateful that they made your day so special. Thank you for choosing our service and for trusting us instead of taking the train. It was a pleasure to accompany your family, and we hope to welcome you again on your next visit to Portugal. Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Lisbon to Algarve Private Transfer Up to 4 Stops start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
