What you'll see and do
Torre de Belem
At the beginning of our tour along the Tagus River, we will pass by the majestic Belém Tower, one of Lisbon's most iconic monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built between 1514 and 1520, this Manueline-style tower was erected to defend the mouth of the Tagus and protect Lisbon from potential invasions. With its stunning architecture, you can admire the intricate stone carvings, such as the intertwined ropes, armillary spheres, and crosses of the Order of Christ—symbols of Portugal's maritime power. Beyond its defensive role, Belém Tower also served as a lighthouse, a customs post, and even a prison. It was also a departure point for the great maritime expeditions of the Age of Discoveries. As we pass by, imagine Portuguese navigators like Vasco da Gama setting sail into the unknown.
Pass by without stopping
As you pass by the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown on Lisbon’s waterfront, you’ll see one of the city’s most striking modern landmarks. Designed by architect Charles Correa, the building sits where the Tagus River meets the Atlantic, symbolizing Portugal’s historic voyages into the unknown and today’s scientific exploration. Its pale stone curves, open-air amphitheater, reflecting pools, and broad terraces create a dramatic contrast with nearby historic Belém monuments. Inside, it is a world-renowned center for biomedical research and cancer treatment.

Praia de Paco de Arcos
Dropping anchor near Praia de Paço de Arcos feels like arriving at a hidden pocket of calm along the Lisbon coast. In these gentle waters, the boat settles softly while the shoreline glows in the sun. It’s the perfect place to unwind, swim in the clear sea, dive straight from the deck, enjoy a cocktail with music playing in the background, and stretch out under the warm sun. With the peaceful bay around you and the relaxed rhythm of the water, it becomes an effortless escape just moments from the city.

Wonderful experience
The visit was wonderful with lovely views, lots of time spent at a swimming stop, and great company. The live music element was fantastic — and we were also able to DJ our favorite music. We chose to gamble given there was only one review but we were pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and hosts’ desire to have this be a great experience. This is clearly one of the best intimate boating experiences available in Lisbon.

Must-do in Lisboa!
Our trip was 3 hour long and when we arrived at the dock we immediately wished it was even longer! The boat was comfortable, the music was awesome (we could play DJ and Ivo plays the guitar beautifully), the people were great and the vibes even better. We recommend everyone who is thinking about doing this trip to book it right this second!!🤗😌

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music cost?
+
Prices start at $53 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lisbon Boat Cruise with Swimming Stop & Live Music start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
