Great experience
I had an amazing experience on this bike tour! The guide is also the owner, and you can really tell he genuinely loves what he does. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and personable, and was always happy to answer questions—in fact, he encouraged us to ask more. Water and a snack were included, and he was very flexible with the timing. He created a fun, relaxed atmosphere and had great chemistry with everyone in our mixed group. The whole experience felt very personal rather than like a typical organized tour. Definitely one of the highlights of my time in Lima and I would highly recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Mateusz! I really enjoyed having you on the tour and the great atmosphere we had with the whole group. All the questions, conversations and laughs along the way are a big part of what makes these rides so enjoyable for me too. I’m really happy you felt the tour was personal and relaxed, and even happier to hear it was one of the highlights of your time in Lima. Thanks a lot for the lovely review and recommendation!

Amazing Tour. Amazing Guide.
We were approached by the operator across from the office in front of the church and at first thought it was like everywhere else when someone tries to sell you a tour. But on the contrary! Warm, informative, and not pushy at all. He explained to us what we could expect, where we could get more information online, and that if we felt like it, we should stop by in the coming days. We did just that, and it was 100% worth it. We learned a lot about Lima and its districts and were able to enjoy the great views from various spots. The group size is kept appropriately small in order to be considerate of all participants during the ride and to guide them safely through traffic. Fortunately, Lima has many bike paths that are also predominantly used during the tour. The bicycles and helmets are also in great condition. I would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to get an overview in a "short" amount of time.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this lovely review! I’m really glad you guys decided to come back and join me after our first conversation in the park. I really enjoyed having you on the tour and showing you around Lima. It’s especially nice to hear that you appreciated the small group, the safety and the relaxed way we explore the city. So happy it turned out to be 100% worth coming back! Thanks a lot for the recommendation!

Simply brilliant way to spend a morning exploring Lima
This tour found us by chance and we're so glad it did. Gonzalo who runs the tours is an excellent guide and very good company. The cycling covered just over 12km and was easy going. It was thorough without being rushed and superb value for money
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Andy! Really glad you guys decided to join the tour that morning. I had a great time riding around Miraflores and Barranco with you both and really enjoyed all our conversations along the way. It was a pleasure having you guys. Thanks a lot for the great review!

Terrific bike tour of Lima with Gonzalo.
Spent an amazingly wonderful afternoon biking with our tour guide Gonzalo. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and super fun to hang out with. He knew all the spots to see and was eager to answer any questions. The best part for me, was seeing him enjoying this ride as much as we were. He didn’t come across like a paid tour guide, but more like a friend excited to show off his City. I would absolutely recommend Gonzalo, truly a special day spent in a beautiful City. Thanks Gonzalo!! Dave and Kim
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Dave and Kim! It was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with you both. Your kind words truly mean a lot to me. I’m especially happy that the tour felt more like exploring Lima with a friend—that’s exactly the experience I hope to create for every guest. Thank you for your recommendation, and I hope to see you again someday. Safe travels! 🚲🇵🇪

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lima.
How much does Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lima usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lima is not rushed.
Is Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lima, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lima can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lima and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lima Small-Group Bike Tour: Miraflores & Barranco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lima within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lima?
+
On Outty we rank every Lima experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Peruvian Cooking Class, Local Market Tour & Exotic Fruit Tasting, The Complete Lima Experience: History, Culture & Flavors, #1 Rated Lima Cooking Class: Make Ceviche, Causa & Pisco Sours!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lima?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lima?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
