Singapore airline lounge

Nothing premium about this lounge- zoo lounge with chicken nugget entre.

We are currently at the FCO and waited in line to get in this lounge. It was a zoo, or maybe three zoos together, they had no seating space available, and despite how busy they are, they had the genius idea of roping off 40% of the lounge with a reserved sign. The food offering was frozen chicken nuggets. Nothing Premium about this lounge.

Response from the operator: Dear tbch11, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your visit to the Plaza Premium Lounge (Extra Schengen Area, Departures, Terminal 3). We are sorry to learn that the lounge did not meet your expectations on this occasion. Please allow us to clarify that our lounge welcomes all eligible travelers, including families with children, and is not an adults-only facility. We regret if the behavior of some guests affected your comfort during your stay. We would also like to point out that some of our partners offer advance lounge reservations to their customers. For this reason, certain tables and areas may be dedicated to guests with confirmed bookings, ensuring the service levels agreed with our partners. For any future visit, we kindly encourage you to speak with a member of our team, who will be pleased to assist you in finding suitable seating and making your experience as comfortable as possible. Thank you again for your feedback, which helps us continue improving our service. Kind regards, Flavio

Poor Lounge

I travelled in Business Class and had the opportunity to visit this lounge twice, once in July and again in August. Unfortunately, both experiences were extremely disappointing. A lounge representing Italy’s flag carrier, in what is probably one of the most important countries in Europe—and perhaps even in the world—should offer a much higher standard of service. Casa Italia, however, looks unattractive, neglected and many years behind the times. The comparison with the lounges of other European airlines is unforgiving: better-designed spaces, a much wider selection of hot dishes, meat, fish and desserts, as well as better service and greater attention to passengers. In some cases, all of this is offered at even lower fares. Here, by contrast, the impression is that both a modern vision and a genuine desire to improve are missing. Business Class passengers also pay for an appropriate level of hospitality and comfort. Simply providing a room and calling it a “lounge” is not enough. Management should take a closer look at what other airlines offer and improve these essential services. If passengers can receive much more elsewhere—even while paying less—it is perfectly understandable that they will choose another airline. A major change is urgently needed. In its current condition, this lounge risks damaging the airline’s image rather than enhancing it.

Response from the operator: Dear taherb983, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to kindly clarify that your review appears to refer to Casa Alitalia/ITA Airways Lounge, which is a different facility from the Plaza Premium Lounge (Extra Schengen Area, Departures, Terminal 3). As the comments regarding the products, services and management described do not relate to our lounge, we respectfully invite you to review the location associated with your feedback and, if appropriate, update or remove this review to ensure it is linked to the correct lounge. Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you pleasant future travels. Kind regards, Flavio

Enjoy my waiting time in the airport

Second visit to this lounge, and I can confirm that the food is delicious and there is a great variety to choose from. The staff is highly professional and makes the whole experience truly enjoyable. A special mention goes to Mauro, Matteo, and Beatrice for their kindness, warmth, and outstanding hospitality. The only suggestion I can give is... keep up the great work!

Response from the operator: Dear 70sandrot, Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback and for choosing to spend your time with us at the Plaza Premium Lounge (Extra Schengen Area, Departures, Terminal 3). We are delighted to know that your second visit confirmed your positive impression of our lounge. It is truly rewarding to hear that you enjoyed the delicious food selection and the wide variety available. Your kind words about the professionalism of our team are greatly appreciated. We will be especially pleased to share your compliments with Mauro, Matteo, and Beatrice, who will be delighted to know that their kindness, warmth, and hospitality made your experience even more enjoyable. Thank you also for your encouraging suggestion. We will certainly continue striving to maintain the high standards that made your visit memorable. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Premium is a stretch - it’s okay but could be better

It’s okay. Most of the employees here are very nice, but the food selection is limited and meh. And only beer & wine (red/white/prosecco) are included…and there is only one beer, Birra Moretti. Everything else seems to cost 12 euros. It was fairly full, but wasn’t too difficult finding a place to sit. WiFi worked well and many seats had usb-a plugs for charging. There were outlets as well, but they did not work with my adapter. Being used to the awesome Delta lounges in the states, this one was kind of a letdown. But better than the cheap seats anyways!

Response from the operator: Rispondere alle review said: Rispondere alle review Dear Megalomac, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for visiting the Plaza Premium Lounge (Extra Schengen Area, Departures, Terminal 3). We are pleased to know that you appreciated the friendliness of our team, the availability of seating, and the quality of our WiFi service. At the same time, we regret that some aspects of your experience did not fully meet your expectations. Our food and beverage offering is designed to provide a selection of complimentary items, including beer, wine, and Prosecco, while premium spirits and selected beverages are available at an additional charge. We understand that lounge experiences can vary significantly around the world, and we appreciate your comparison and comments regarding the variety of food and drinks available. Your observations are valuable to us and will be shared with the relevant teams as we continuously work to enhance our guests' experience. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to welcome you back on a future journey through Rome Fiumicino Airport. Kind regards, Flavio

Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures cost?

+

Prices start at $408 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 44 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 318 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures?

+

Around 111 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Leonardo da Vinci Airport Plaza Premium Lounge, Terminal 3 Departures start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

+

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

+

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
