    Great for families

We took our 15 and 11-year-old children, and everyone had an incredible experience filled with hands-on activities. The kids were thoroughly entertained for hours while learning so much about Da Vinci. The ticket prices were also very reasonable.

    A small, informative experience.

This is a small museum very close the St Peter’s Basilica. It has hands on experiences on the first floor. The lower floor is a collection of reproductions of famous paintings. The self guided audio tour allows you to click on a card for the correct information for each item. You go at your own pace. We sat on the floor listening to the info about each piece (enjoying the air conditioning in the heat wave!) before walking the short distance back to the hop on hop off bus stop. Please note: there is NO restaurant inside, nor next to, this museum experience; I was misled by Google & Trip Advisor (Ciocco restaurant was advertised). The closest restaurant was 1minute further along the same road, which was average and not worth writing about.

Great if you love da Vinci!

This is a experience if you like da Vinci work and is curious, can easily spend 2 hours in the place and don't need to book in advance, costs €16 (and don't have toilette! the guy in the reception stated that the museum is located in a crypt below a church and they didn't had space or structure to built, a very bad detail in my opinion). You can interact with many of the replicas, every one of them have plaques explaining, and also have a touch screen that you can learn more about the project. Was my favorite museum do visit in Rome, and the best souvenir shop!

Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission cost?

    +

Prices start at $14 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 147 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission?

    +

Around 51 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Leonardo da Vinci Experience Museum Admission start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

    +

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

    +

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
