Our driver was so very accommodating, kind, curtious, informative, early so we could get better tickets, and fun to travel with. Would highly recommend this man to anyone of my friends or family. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Awesome, Memorable Bali Trip
We had a wonderful, amazing time in Bali, with our Driver , Robert Madi Sahadiwa. He was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable, patient and very accommodating. He explained everything to us and even offered to take our pictures. The Gates of Heaven was awesome, and even if the lines were long, it was really worth it. Bali is very beautiful!! Robert also brought us to Kebuni Bali, where we tasted different coffees and teas, and introduced us to a nice restaurant. After the tour we asked if we could swing by a Batik Store, it was already late but he took the chance to drive us there where we were able to buy some stuff. If you come to Bali, we highly recommend Robert and his Company for their excellent service.

A great trip
Rukun was amazing. My girlfriend and I had a great trip. He was very flexible with time and locations and helped us see everything we wanted to. Rukun was there help us take pictures and give recommendations. His driving was calm and safe. And even though there were long distances it was not a problem because of interesting small talk. A very pleasant day that left us happy and tired.

Safe. Reliable. Informative. Flexible
Prompt, reliable and fun. Our private tour with Asta & Samson was memorable and fun. Putu was very helpful from the very start, helping us with the locations we wanted to visit. He suggested the right pickup timing so that we can catch sunrise at the heaven's gate temple - We were only one of 3 groups when we arrived there. He saved us 35-45 mins of waiting time. Asta & Samson drove very safely and professionally. Having two guides meant that one of them could focus on driving while the other person could chat comfortably and give us all the necessary information. The private tour allowed us to customize the locations we wanted to visit and we could decide on the way, which meant flexibility to change plans if we were tired or changed our mind. Asta helped us with various suggestions, happily dropped us at a specific spa location and took us to a lovely restaurant in the rice fields of Ubud + suggested traditional dishes to try. He's also incredibly creative with pictures and videos - Make sure you request him to take your photos and videos. ☺️ Thank you Putu, Asta & Samson for an extremely memorable and fun day. Will recommend to my friends and use again.
Response from the operator: Dear Happy Client Greeting From Putu Bali Driver Thank you for taking the time to share your review on Tripadvisor. We will always strive to provide the best service for customers !! We look forward to see again. Best Regards Putu

Amazing tours with Gede!!!
Been to the waterfall and to many many other places with Gede, a private driver from Putu. Had much fun on those 3 days I've been driving around with him. He always joined me to the attractions which was really nice as I'm travelling alone, and even took me to stunning places I haven't had on my list. Always felt save and comfortable and could totally enjoy my trip over the island. Definitely recommend Gede!!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lempuyang Gate of Heaven and Tukad Cepung Waterfall start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
