Chaos photo
The 4 am start, 2 hours of road chaos, 1 hour wait for photo where guy uses mirror for special effect then 2 hours of worse road chaos coming back - not the ‘wow’ experience for the money we paid …

Good guide, overrated place
The guide was good and I had no issue at all with the itinerary and the service that was provided. Lepuyang temple only became popular in the last 5 years or so because of insta/social media. Before that, nobody cared. The "gates of heaven" is a structure that available all over Bali because it represents the mountain. and you don't need to go here and wait in line for 2-3 hours to take a faked mirror reflection picture. Unless your hotel/resort is close to the temple, I would not recommend wasting your day here. Plenty of other places in Bali to explore.
Response from the operator: Thanks for sharing your honest opinion about Lempuyang Temple. For visitors planning to go, note that the temple has gained popularity due to social media and the iconic 'Gates of Heaven' structure. If you're not interested in waiting in line for a specific photo opportunity, you might want to consider other temples or attractions in Bali that offer similar experiences without the crowds. However, if you're interested in visiting Lempuyang Temple to take a picture in front of the gate, please consider to going early morning or planning your day accordingly to minimize wait times at the additional que line picture in front of the gate. We appreciate your feedback and hope it helps others plan their trip to Bali!" Kind Regards Putu

Enjoy the picture not the experience.
The place is beautiful The picture is gorgeous The experience was best average. 2.5 hours from Sanur 2.5 hours wait to take pictures and that was fast because a person gave us his spot 50 tickets ahead of us. Touristic!
Response from the operator: Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review and feedback with us. We appreciate both positive and negative comments, as they help us refine our services and better meet our customers' expectations. Your input will be invaluable in enhancing our future performances, and we will take note of the precise parameters outlined in your review. We hope you've enjoyed your experience with us in Bali and look forward to the opportunity to serve you again on your next visit. We're committed to providing you with the best possible service, and we hope to welcome you back soon. Best regards, Putra On behalf of Management of Seminyak Tour Driver Bali

Nit worth it
No use going so far for just this…can skip…huge waiting and queues and just for 1 photo so not worth the effort and stress even in off season
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your time to write a comment, we understand that you have visited the gate heaven for picture and as we have mentioned on the description that we have provided the entrance ticket that is proved with skip the entrance line where everyone have to wait to get to enter the temple area. Followed by the picture at the gate heaven, No one can skip the line to get the chance to take photo shots beause everyone has limited as a minutes time to take pose picture in front of the gate heaven. And base on deep investigation, that you have started so late out of origin scheduled following your voucher and that was from Seminyak which is will take almost 3 hours to get to lempuyang temple, it may also the reason the experince you had is not meet as expected. We can take the point on this case about the timing, that maybe accurate starting time in Bali it is different then in India. With patient our driver has been waiting for you in the hotel, but the driver has already informed you with how can be effected in the gate heaven if you visiting on late afternoon. Next tour,we really hope you can be ontime and following the instruction as discribed on the tour itinerary. If you have any other concern, please feel free to let us know anytime. Once again, thank you very much and have a great holiday in Bali. Once again and again please do not be late as first aggreed departure time. Kind Regards I Dewa Putu Putra Manik

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ubud.
How much does Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive cost?
+
Prices start at $18 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ubud usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ubud is not rushed.
Is Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ubud, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ubud can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ubud and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lempuyang Temple Entrance Ticket All Inclusive start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ubud within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ubud?
+
On Outty we rank every Ubud experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mount Batur Jeep Adventure, Best of Ubud Full-Day Tour with Jungle Swing, Full-Day Tour to Water Temples and UNESCO Rice Terraces in Bali. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ubud?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ubud?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
