    Grandkids Fun Day

Took my two grandkids 6&8 they both loved it. Loved the ride where they got to peddle and make it go higher . They enjoyed the shooting ride. Did the Lazer maze a few times. Had fun making their own cars and racing them. They made St of played on the play area with the tunnels and slides for at least 30 minutes. Overall it was reasonably priced and alot of fun.

    Terrible experience and overall disgusting.

1 star it is so overpriced, just for the 4 of us cost 120 dollars with half the rides shut down. We paid extra for more rides but they said it was 1 ride per person. I only saw one employee the entire time and they were on their phone. There was vomit on one of the spinning rides. All this for the price of us going to worlds of fun.

    Meh.

Admission fee is high and you still have to pay for rides. Space is tight. The positive is the staff who are very helpful.

Great, if school groups are not there.

When we got there school groups of 3rd graders were taking over the place. It was difficult to do much with our four year old. HOWEVER, once they left, around lunch time it was fantastic. I would suggest timing around school groups if possible.

    Fun but a little disappointing

We went with our two grandchildren, ages 6 and 9. It was pretty good, and not too crowded. The two indoor rides were definitely for kids their age (I would say this experience really wouldn't attract kids older than about 10). There was a fun playground and a "climb around the laser beams" activity. However, the most disappointing thing was that for it being LEGOLAND, the places where you could build did NOT HAVE ENOUGH LEGOS or room around the lego bins for multiple children. Our grandkids kept having trouble finding the lego pieces they needed to complete their lego projects. There should just be HUGE barrels of legos, and tables for kids to create, in a space called LEGOLAND. Also, the 3 D movie didn't have any words, just a lot of 3D motions (the grandkids were pretty bored with it). All in all, they had a pretty good time, but for the money I expected at least, a lot of LEGO pieces to build with.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kansas City.

How much does LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket cost?

    +

Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kansas City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kansas City is not rushed.

Is LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 108 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kansas City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket?

    +

Around 38 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kansas City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kansas City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas Admission Ticket start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kansas City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kansas City?

    +

Kansas City runs barbecue tasting tours, 18th and Vine jazz history walks, World War I Museum visits, brewery crawls and fountain-hopping city tours. On Outty we rank every Kansas City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Escape Game at Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Kansas City Outlaws and Legends Tour, Kansas City Trolley Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kansas City?

    +

April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kansas City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
