    The tour guide was great,...

The tour guide was great, Tom but I feel like this is overpriced for what it is. Leavenworth is really small so, it is short and there is not much that is learned. The wine tasting can be done your own and pay less. This is a town that taking an official tour of just doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Response from the operator: Debbie, I am sorry to hear that you didn't feel as though you learned anything during your Sip and Stroll Tour in Leavenworth! Especially after you and your husband enjoyed a private tour where I (Tom) explained in detail over 200 years of Leavenworth history and the Viticulture of Washington. Also, just to be clear for future travelers, we have very generous partnerships with our wine tasting rooms and it is actually LESS expensive to do our tour than it is to visit three wine tasting rooms on your own. I hope you did enjoy all of the local recommendations that I provided and the wine that you purchased at the wineries we visited (at a tour discount.)
