About this experience
We will walk you on simple paths on the hills surrounding the city center where casual tourists are difficult to meet. These aren't fancy places that you can find on the cover of tourism magazines, these are important places for us, because it's where we spent our childhood and where we still go to chill with our friends and families. Finally, we will visit our favorite baita to enjoy some local delicacies.

20 minutes here
After a hard day of work, we meet to enjoy the coolness of the woods watching the sunset from the hills and ending the night tasting some traditional food in a typical "baita" surrounded by trees. These are typical taverns or restaurants of the area (usually reachable only by foot), where you can find simple but authentic food of the local tradition, which is difficult to find downtown. We'd like to share this peculiar ritual with you. We walk, we eat, we drink some wine and we chat; we socialize in the old fashion way...

Walk and snack
After a short public bus trip from Como, the Tour begins with a steep stroll up to a view point over Como town and lake, was beautiful, then you stroll back down and have a beer and share a meat/cheese board. Our guide was a nice man but the tour was basic unfortunately.
Response from the operator: Dear Brian, thank you for your feedback. It will be useful for improving our experience. Our Lake Como Night is not meant to be a fancy tour but is designed to lead our guests off the beaten paths and live an authentic experience. These are the places we are used to go with our friends and families when we have some free time and we like to share it, because we know that these places are the true soul of our city. Those trails and the pub in the woods are not known among tourists but only by the locals, and difficult to find and reach if you don't have a local with you. Maybe your expectations where misplaced when you picked up this experience. We hope you have enjoyed the rest of your vacation. Ciao e grazie Daniele

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Lake Como Night: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.
How much does Lake Como Night cost?
+
Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Lake Como Night take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.
Is Lake Como Night worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Lake Como Night?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Lake Como Night suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Lake Como Night?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Lake Como Night start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Como?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Como?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Como?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
