A great day but long....
A great day but long. Totally worth it though. Frank was a great guide and knew all the cool places. If you have something specific, speak up. Because it may be able to be worked in with a drive-by.
Response from the operator: A day in Los Angeles, an epic journey through the city of LA from Downtown to the beach, you'll get to see the best parts of LA. Thanks for review guys, glad you had fun. :)

LA In a Day!
Frank was amazing and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Highly recommend any tour with this company. We also were able to meet another member of the team and were very impressed with him also.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the review. Glad you guys had a good time. This tour takes you from Palm Springs to LA where we go through the whole city of Los Angeles and end up at the Santa Monica Pier in the evening. It's an adventure day for sure but you get to see Los Angeles in 1 Day. Thanks for the review. :)

Long but worth the time.
This is a very long tour. I wasn't expecting it to be in a car and was expecting the tour to be in a tour bus. Once we arrived it became very informative regarding the stars who lived in LA. The tour director was excellent in taking us to many homes of stars that either lived currently or previously in a home. He was very knowable about the history of the film industry in Hollywood.
Response from the operator: Thanks for the review guys. Ya, this is a private tour to LA for your group only and ya it’s definitely an adventure day from Palm Springs . LA is 100 miles from Palm Springs so the drive there and back can be long , but we’ll do the driving and entertain along the way . Glad you got to see the city and walk the stars .

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Palm Springs.
How much does LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles cost?
+
Prices start at $849 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Palm Springs usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Palm Springs is not rushed.
Is LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Palm Springs, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Palm Springs can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Palm Springs and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does LA in a Day | Private Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Los Angeles start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Palm Springs within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Palm Springs?
+
Palm Springs sells architecture tours through midcentury neighbourhoods, Aerial Tramway trips up San Jacinto, Indian Canyons hikes, Joshua Tree stargazing and windmill farm runs. Shade, water and pickup points separate a good desert tour from a rough one. On Outty we rank every Palm Springs experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bank Heist Escape Room Game for Private Group, Palm Springs Modernism Architecture & History Bike Tour, Vampire's Lair Escape Room Game for Private Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Palm Springs?
+
November to April. Book dawn or evening slots in summer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Palm Springs?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
