    A fantastic beach day!

We had a great time! I loved that there were different sections at this park. There was a water park near the entrance, as well as a large beach with tons of chairs and umbrellas. The beach itself had sections for adult only and families. We also added the Mexican Flavors to our day pass and Jazmin and Yolanda were such a delight! They made lunch very fun and engaging, I only wished I could’ve eaten everything offered!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing such a thorough review with us! 🌊 We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the different sections of the park, from the water park area near the entrance to the large beach with so many chairs and umbrellas, plus having separate spaces for adults and families. We also love reading about Jazmin and Yolanda; making the Mexican Flavors activity so fun and engaging during lunch is exactly the kind of cultural experience we aim to offer, and how lovely that you wished you could try everything offered! Thank you for your trust! We hope to welcome you all back again soon for more well-rounded days like this one. 🏖️

    Disappointment and Health Hazard

I was very disappointed with the Mexican "cooking" class. The only things we were able to do hands on were the guacamole and pressing of tortillas. No recipes were offered for take home. The staff focused their attention on select people and when we asked for recipes, we were told they were too difficult for us to have. Also to note, I stated that I had an allergy at the beginning of the class. One of the items smelled like it had the allergen in it but they repeatedly stated that it did not. This was false as I had a reaction after ingesting it. This disregard for health is concerning. The beach club itself needs quite a bit of work done on it. In the restroom, only 1 of 3 sinks worked. Music was blasting like you were in the middle of a club. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a luxe experience to give KUZÁ a pass until they make improvements. The pricing was not in line with the experience at all.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We are sorry to hear that you found the cooking class to be limited and that you did not feel as well taken care of by our staff as other guests. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will address this issue with our team to ensure a more consistent and inclusive experience for all guests. Please let us know more about your experience, including the specific food item you reported an allergy to, the date you took the cooking class, and the time of the class by emailing us at: sup-calidad@kuzapark.com Guest safety is our top priority, and we take this matter very seriously. We have also taken note of your comments regarding our facilities and the overall atmosphere, as well as your perception of value for money. Your feedback is important to us, and we will take it into account as we continue to improve our services. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Fun Beach Day at Kuza

We visited Cozumel for a beach day at Kuza, taking the ferry from Playa Del Carmen. We were earlier than planned but sat on the clean, sandy beach until the class was ready to start. Yasmin (teacher?), Yolanda (assistant?), and David (photographer) were very friendly and helpful. Both alcoholic and non-alcohohic drinks were offered even before the actual class started. We each had our own equipment and made the most amazing guacamole (I didn't know you should only use Haas avocados!), hand made tortillas and then ate it all plus tacos. The women wore local dress and showed the traditional way of making corn meal. It was definitely a well done small group class. The rest of the day was spent at the beach where there were plenty of loungers available, pavilions scattered around, and towels available to rent if needed. Water activities, hair braiding, etc. was also offered at an additional cost. The entire outing was not only reasonably priced but made for a fun day that I would gladly repeat. The only disappointment was the buffet that was included. It wasn't bad but the quality of the food was nothing special, especially after the wonderful taste of the food in the cooking class. I should mention that there are specialty items were available at an additional cost from the restaurant that seemed to be more appetizing.

Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day cost?

    +

Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 192 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day?

    +

Around 67 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kuza Beach & Flavors Experience-Mexican cooking Class & Beach Day start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
