Great tour guide
We had an amazing time with Giorgi, he was very knowledgeable of Georgia and its history and recommended some fantastic places to visit. Great to talk to and a very comfortable car which is great for the long journey

Excellent journey, 100% worth it
Our driver Giorgi was the most professional guide and the very nice person, sincere, friendly and kind-hearted! We have travelled to Martvili Canyon & Cave Prometheus from Tbilisi. The Prometheus Cave Natural Monument was huge and marvelous with well-organized processes and staff. You can walk underground for almost 1,4 km with lots of stalactites and stalagmites around you with colorful lights and epic music in some halls. After a long ride in the car, it looks awesome! The Martvili Canyon as the next stop makes the day even better, a trip on the river with fantastic views all around you makes you feel like national geographic photographer.

An amazing trip to Martvili Canyon and Prometheus cave with Giorgi
Had an absolutely amazing day together with my girlfriend and our tour guide, he was super friendly and knowledgeable. He told us about the history of Georgia, its regions like Kartli and Imereti. The canyon was amazing and is definitely worth taking a boat trip and Prometheus cave is beautiful to walk through. We are more than happy with the service and our experience and the memories we made. Thank you so much Giorgi!

How far in advance should I book Kutaisi, Martvili Canyon & Prometheus Cave Tour from Tbilisi?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tbilisi can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tbilisi and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Tbilisi?
+
On Outty we rank every Tbilisi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tbilisi:Evening Walking & Talking Tour with Wine & Boat Ride, Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset, Tbilisi:Mtskheta,Jvari,Bazaar, wine tasting,Chronicles of Georgia. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tbilisi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tbilisi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
