The driver was very nice,...

The driver was very nice, however, his English was extremely limited. The trip I would class as a taxi tour not a guided tour. He took us where we wanted to go and was on time. The taxi was a little tired but clean. We were given water but it wasn’t cold, a cool box would have been nice for the driver to keep it cold.

Response from the operator: Hi Christine, Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is a Taxi Tour with driver as ur guide. we dont provide specialized tour guide (license tour guide) unless requested with additional charges.

Great Shore Excursion in Kuala Lumpur!

The Port is 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Kuala Lumpur. To maximize the day, this is a great way to see everything there is to see. It is basically a taxi, but with an Engllish speaking driver adding lots of commentary. Saif was terrific in reaching out two days before, asking what we would like or if he should plan the day. We got tickets for the Petronas Towers at a time he suggested. We then planned with him the day around that. By the end of the day, we had seen everything we wanted based on our reading. It was flexible with us able to do much on our own, on our own time, but with guidance along the way. Saif was terrific in fitting in a wonderful day. He also answered many questions for us about Malasia and Kuala Lumpur which added to our day. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thanks Laura... i hope u enjoyed the tour.

Excellent tour guide

Had a great time with saiful . We only had a day in kuala Lumpur and I left it to saiful to arrange places to visit which he did perfectly , Had an amazing time and saw loads of places , he was a very friendly man and waited around for us in between places . and got us back to our ship in plenty time and safely . Would highly recommend him and I’m messaging him again when I’m next in Kuala Lumpur thank you so much

It was a first class guide and amazing tour of Kuala Lumpur.

Apart from the caves, the mosques and Hindu temples and the National Museum I think it’s important to visit the Textile Museum is essential it keeps not only an interesting view on an important industry of Malaysia, but also gives a lot of insight into the Malaysian culture. The other museum that I visited was the Islamic museum and I think it’s the best one I’ve ever seen

Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuala Lumpur.

How much does Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing cost?

+

Prices start at $93 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuala Lumpur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuala Lumpur is not rushed.

Is Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuala Lumpur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuala Lumpur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuala Lumpur and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuala Lumpur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?

+

On Outty we rank every Kuala Lumpur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Genting Highland & Batu Cave Guided Day Tour (SIC/Shared Tour), Private Half-Day Batu Caves and Cutural Tour in Kuala Lumpur. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kuala Lumpur?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
