Mr Shuttle was an excellent tour company

I booked this trip after previous reviews. I wanted to go to the mountains but wasn't bothered by the thermal baths really, but it came as a package at a good price and a decent departure time so I booked. Peter the driver/guide was well presented, polite and a confident driver. Just 5 of us in a very clean comfortable Mercedes van. First stop the wooden church. Very pretty, worth 15 minutes. Second stop Zakopane. Wow! Super busy and touristy!! Not quite what I expected to be honest, but I'm glad I saw the mountains in winter. And the funicular was fun up and down. Just close your eyes to the tourist stalls all selling the same things at inflated prices. I've been spoilt by skiing in the French Alps 🙄 Zakopane Town was pretty, lots of music and busy again. I walked to the park for some space and took a picnic bought in the local bakery. Stop 3 Thermal baths. As I said, it's not my thing but it was clean, well organised BIG! And VERY BUSY!! I hired a towel for 10 PLN, didn't bother with flip-flops, put everything in the locker to be safe. The views of the mountains from the outside pools were stunning. Stayed in for an hour then chilled in the sun at the front of the building with a coffee. Overall I am glad I did the trip, but I wouldn't repeat it. It was a personal thing that I just don't like crowds. But Mr Shuttle /Peter was excellent. Couldn't fault communication both before and throughout the day via WhatsApp. I'd use them again.

Fantastic service again. Pick up on time and messaged day before and morning of pick up. Loved the trip and ending on thermal baths was just tremendous. Friendly driver and clean and comfy transport. Will definitely use again

    A great day out

I really enjoyed this day trip. It was well organised and beautiful to see different parts of Poland. The mountains are beautiful. The spa was lovely, you can take your own towels or hire them there. I have two small points that I wish I’d known before: 1. The journey to and from Zakopane is quite long (2 hours ish) and the roads are quite bumpy/windy, plus we didn’t have the opportunity to stop for the toilet. I’d have like a bathroom break and also I get a bit car sick when the roads are like that so I’d have taken a tablet beforehand. 2. We were told by our guide at the spa that you had to pay if you wanted to use the Sauna as well as the pools. This isn’t actually true and we nearly ended up paying when we wouldn’t have had to. If you go to the baths on the lower ground there are free saunas to use there. Other than that all was great, our guide was lovely, and the trip was well worth it.

    Our Driver was absolutely amazing

Have used Mr Shuttle twice this week and have to say it's great service, updated collection times the night before, collected on time, great tours which cut out all the queuing, tody we had Mark (I believe this was his name) our guide to Zakopane, he is a complete asset to Mr Shuttle Tours, such a knowledgeable guide who chatted with us all from start to finish even answering questions that were not associated with the tour, highly recommended going above and beyond.

Response from the operator: Dear Traveller, Thank you for your kind words! We’re so happy you had a great experience and found the tour valuable. Your feedback means a lot to us! Gabriela from MrShuttle

Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $117 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.

Is Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Krakow Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
