The Schindler factory is...
The Schindler factory is worth the visit however we found it to be more about the holocaust in general, than specifically about Schindlers factory. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate.

Wonderful tour
Lots of excellent information from an extremely knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend it. Easy to walk.

Very poor organisation
We turn up and there is a need for an ID. Unlike the Auschwitz tour where there was a clear list of ID requirements there was not so with this tour and you had to scan right to the bottom of the screen on the fine print

Great tour and informative guide.
The factory tour was so interesting- an awful lot of history about how the war started and the effects on Poland and its people. Wish I’d done this tour at the start of the week as it would have been helpful knowing pre-history to the Jewish persecution during WWII. Olga was very informative and knowledgeable. Super friendly too. We then did the walking tour with Olga. I’m so impressed by not only her knowledge but enthusiasm to the subject. Thank you so much Olga. Can definitely recommend the schindler tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful feedback! We’re delighted you found the factory tour so interesting and helpful in understanding the broader context of WWII and its impact on Poland. It’s great to hear that Olga made such a strong impression with her knowledge, friendliness, and enthusiasm—both during the museum visit and the walking tour. We truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation. It means a lot to us that the experience was so valuable. We hope to welcome you again for another tour in the future! Best regards, Maciej

Interesting, but far too long!
Our tour was much longer than expected (over 3 hours) and we felt that it was about an hour too long. We arrived at 12.15pm as recommended for our 12.30 tour, it actually started at 12.50pm and we left at 1600 – it felt like a long, tiring afternoon. Our guide was very enthusiastic & knowledgeable, but gave us far more information than we could take in. He seems nice and worked very hard to give us as much as possible but we’d have preferred it if he hadn’t given us such detailed background and history. We understood that it wasn’t all going to be about Schindler, but not everyone is a history buff so a potted version would have been preferable!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the tour felt longer and more intensive than expected, and for the delayed start. We understand that the amount of information may have felt overwhelming—our guides aim to share as much context as possible, but we appreciate that not everyone prefers such a detailed approach. We’re glad you found the guide enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and we will take your comments into account to better balance the pace and level of detail. We hope to welcome you again for a more comfortable experience. Best regards, Maciej

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.
How much does Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Krakow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Krakow is not rushed.
Is Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Krakow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Krakow?
+
On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow: Zakopane & Hot Springs Tour with Cable Car (Hotel Pickup). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Krakow?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Krakow?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
