    2. Ghetto Wall Fragment

A significant remnant of Kraków's wartime history, this 12-meter stretch of the original ghetto wall serves as a poignant reminder of the suffering endured by its inhabitants during World War II. Marked by a commemorative plaque erected in 1983, the wall bears witness to the hardships faced by those who lived within its confines and the tragic fate that awaited many as they were transported to the death camps. 3. Plac Bohaterow Getta

Located in the Podgórze district of Krakow, Ghetto Heroes Square bears witness to the tragic history of the Jewish ghetto that once occupied this area from 1941 to 1943. During this time, it served as a gathering point for the Jewish population before their deportation to concentration camps. Today, the square features a poignant monument consisting of several dozen cast-iron chairs placed individually. These chairs symbolize the personal belongings and property of Krakow's Jewish residents, scattered on the streets following the liquidation of the ghetto. The monument stands as a solemn reminder of the lives lost and the enduring legacy of the Holocaust in Krakow's history.

    Very informative tour

You can't visit Krakow without visiting Schindlers Factory, our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and also pointed if things are not original or have been changed since the war. But as good as the Factory tour was, it didn't compare to the Ghetto walking tour which we had arranged to be part of the package, we luckily had the same guide and she was fantastic, highly recommended.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful and enthusiastic review! 💙 We’re truly honored that you joined us for both the Schindler’s Factory tour and the Jewish Ghetto walking tour—and we’re thrilled to hear how much you appreciated your guide’s expertise and care. At Hello Cracow, we believe deeply in preserving and sharing Kraków’s complex and powerful history: ✅ Schindler’s Factory is an essential stop for anyone visiting the city—our guides always highlight what’s original and what’s been reconstructed, offering honest, in-depth context ✅ We're especially glad you continued with the Ghetto walking tour—the streets themselves hold so much unspoken history, and exploring them with a passionate guide can be an unforgettable experience ✅ Having the same guide for both tours creates a stronger narrative thread, and we’re so happy it made the day even more impactful for you We’d love to welcome you again—message us on WhatsApp at +48 500 720 706 for your returning guest discount 💬📲 #HelloCracow #SchindlersFactory #JewishGhettoTour #KrakowHistory #NeverForget #RespectfulTravel #EducationalExperience #EmotionalJourney #GuidedToursKrakow #PassionateGuides #CustomerServiceExcellence #TourWithCare #SeamlessExperience #TransparentTravel #PunctualAndReliable #VisitCracow #ExploreKrakow #CracowTours #KrakowExperience #HighlyRecommended #MemorableVisit #HolocaustEducation

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Krakow.

How much does Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour cost?

    +

Is Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Krakow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Krakow: Private Schindler's Factory & Ghetto Guided Tour?

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Krakow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Krakow and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Krakow?

    +

On Outty we rank every Krakow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Complete Cracow Bike Tour (small group of maximum 15 people!), Krakow–Zakopane: Cable Car, Chocholow Baths, Cheese & Vodka, Krakow to Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfer and Ticket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Krakow?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Krakow?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
