    Yes I rate it

Snorking at koh nang yaun possibly the best i have ever done. Boat fast. Probably 6 too many passengers for comfort. About 26 people would be perfect. Need to get a step to get out of boat and a deeper ladder to get out of water into boat. Certainly difficult for older and larger people. Lunch was good. Water to drink on boat was plentiful. No safety instructions at all in boat or for snorkling, but hey we are in Thailand!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed snorkeling at Koh Nang Yuan and had a great experience overall. We appreciate your suggestions, your input is valuable, and we’ll certainly look into ways to improve the comfort and safety for all our guests. We hope to welcome you back soon for another fantastic experience. Best Regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team

    No Fins!

I nearly gave this to tour only 1 star but the employees worked so hard I increased it to 3. I have they're not many snorkeling tours through the caribbean, and all over the world, and never seen a tour operater who doesn't offer fins to swim with. Very disappointed. If you are expecting snorkle fins, good luck, there were only two pairs on the boat and the crew used them even after I asked. Not Recommended

Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback. First of all, we truly appreciate you acknowledging the hard work of our crew. It means a lot to us that you recognized their effort, even though the overall experience did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment regarding the snorkeling fins. We understand that many guests, especially those who have snorkeled in other parts of the world, expect fins to be standard equipment. Your comments are very important to us. We will review both our equipment availability and how we communicate what is included in the tour, so future guests have clear expectations. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Constructive feedback like yours helps us improve. We hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide a much better experience. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

    Waste of Money

We spent 5 days snorkeling in Thailand. This trip was BY FAR the worst of the 5. I read fine print to make sure this trip maximized the snorkel time. The fact that I have time to write this review while still on the tour should be a sign. The morning snorkel for 45 minutes was pretty decent. But it was one spot, not 3 as listed in the "what to expect" section. Koh Tao is reportedly one of the best spots in Thailand and we got 1/3 of what we were told. Lunch was fine. Then we went to the small island and the snorkeling was virtually non-existant. There was once a coral bed that has been destroyed. The time we had here was 3x what we had at the one morning stop. Not worth it! BTW the guide just stopped by. He said that the tour company is different than the one listed in my booking. He is listed as Funny Day. What's up with that, Trip Advisor!?

Response from the operator: Dear valued customer, We extend our sincerest apologies for the disappointment you experienced during your recent snorkeling trip with us. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we deeply regret that the tour did not meet your expectations. Rest assured, we will investigate the discrepancy regarding the tour company listed in your booking and take necessary actions to ensure such issues are rectified promptly. We understand the importance of transparency and accuracy in our listings, and we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Regarding the snorkeling experience, we understand your frustration with the limited time and the quality of the sites visited. We will work closely with our partners to review and enhance the itinerary to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience on our tours. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve our services, and we are committed to ensuring that future experiences exceed your expectations. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable experience in the future. Warm regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.

How much does Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui cost?

    +

Prices start at $1900 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.

Is Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan Snorkeling Trip By Speedboat From Koh Samui start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?

    +

On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Koh Samui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
