A incredible experience!
Super professional staff, as well as we had perfect weather going back to Phuket from Koh Phi Phi. I’ll never forget sitting in the back of the boat taking in all the views Can’t wait to do this again. Thank you.

Fast trip
Quick and punctual trip. Concerned about storing gasoline containers in their office un Pukhet, and asking customers to wait and sit by the containers. Horrible.
Response from the operator: Dear Albert_B Thanks for the review. The gasoline containers are stored safely near our office.

Be very careful when selecting this option
This is not just a “faster” ride. This is a risky ride for small children, people with motion sickness, back problems and in general any person who will not enjoy an hour of ups and downs and bumping your heads on the walls of the boat. We were not informed about any precautionary measures or ask if we did have any mobility limitations. We did not enjoy it.
Response from the operator: Dear Matias_M Thanks for your message. The boat ride can be quite bumpy during low season where the sea conditions is quite rough. When boarding the boat all passengers are informed and we also mention it under important information that we not recommend this kind of transfer for people with back or neck problems in such bad sea conditions.

easy enough
I booked transfer tickets online on phuketferry.com. easy website to use and arrange transfers from phuket airport to ferry to phi phi and the return to rassada pier, then transfer to patong. everything was pre arranged online and all drivers were there waiting for me each time. very seamless, easy and inexpensive options on the website. The crews help with baggage. I chose the satun pakbara speedboat company and the website had about a 20% discount on the one hour trips so I booked that company. The trips is about 45 min- one hour depending on seas and weather.

Ver fast but bad customer service
We booked this speed boat online in phuketferry one day prior to the departure date. We had few hours to visit Koh Phi Phi, thus we picked the speed boat that lasted 1hr for the departure from Phuket at 8:30am and return from Phi Phi at 2:30pm. In both cases the trip lasted 45min (great time considering the regular boats lasts from 2-3hrs). What I didn’t like was that when we arrived to Phi Phi the driver did not tell us that we could get off the boat, therefore we stayed there like 15-20min waiting until we decided to ask whether we could land or not (after asking we noted that there were passengers that landed in another island, however we had stamps stating our destination at Koh Phi Phi). In the return to Phuket it is very difficult to find the check-in point counter at Phi phi pier; we asked to several people and no one knew where it was located; signals are not clear and the name of the counter is not visible; it is not in the pier, but sideways to the beach. Once we boarded the boat, no one told us to use the life jackets (in the first boat this was requested by the boat crew), the return trip was supposed to last 1.5hrs, but the driver was so fast it lasted only 45min; the boat was jumping and crashing vs the sea, to the point of hurting while seated.

Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ko Phi Phi Don.
How much does Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ko Phi Phi Don usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ko Phi Phi Don is not rushed.
Is Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 35 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Ko Phi Phi Don, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ko Phi Phi Don can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ko Phi Phi Don and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Koh Phi Phi to Phuket by Satun Pakbara Speed Boat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ko Phi Phi Don within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
On Outty we rank every Ko Phi Phi Don experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to James Bond (Canoeing & Kayaking Islands & Lunch), From Phi Phi: Half Day Discover Scuba (2 Dives), From Phi Phi: Sunrise & Beat The Crowds to Maya Bay by Speedboat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Ko Phi Phi Don?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
