From Phi Phi: Half Day Trip for Certified Divers (2 Dives)

Best dive operator so far!

As a diver with 12 years experience, I can say with certainty that you will not be disappointed with this trip. TLDR: 5⭐️ welcome, 5⭐️ food, 5⭐️ education, 5⭐️ energy, 5⭐️ experience and a bonus star for big smiles and good fun! My wife, daughter and I made a total of 14 dives over 2 days. The dive operator, Blue View Divers were incredibly well-organised and left us in the dark about nothing: transparent pricing, scheduling and exceptional communication before during and after. The instructors we dove with demonstrated their wide variety of expertise from a marine biologist leading conservation and citizen scientist dives to a man whose patience and kindly demeanour my wife could not stop complimenting. Whenever we found ourselves lacking equipment like an adaptor or a camera case, they were ready to solve the problem and never inhibit our dive experience. The friendly professionalism and genuine care that we enjoyed every moment of each dive was clear in all that they did. If you plan to dive Phi Phi, dive Blue View!

Refresher course . Ideal course for experienced dicers who were out for a while

Refresher was sufficient. No endless reharsels but to the point . A real must for experienced divers who where out for a while …..

Amazing couple of days diving, the whole team were very professional and helpful. We enjoyed all 4 dives and our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable . From start to finish everything is well planned thanks 😊

Professional company that catered more to non scuba divers program vs certified diver

Booked through What’s Ap evening prior and perhaps there was miscommunication . It was great that they accommodate me, but I was partnered with one of those non scuba divers and only went about 20 feet deep. Was taking a refresher as they required me to do so even though I had five 15 months prior with 110 logged dives. Instructor was upbeat and professional. 2nd dive was very poor visibility - water brown and very clouded. Would it dive here again -

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, Corrine. We're sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. As your booking was made late in the evening before the dive, during a particularly busy New Year's re-opening period, there appears to have been some misunderstanding regarding the dive plan. As requested, you had initially booked yourself and your husband onto a Refresher Program due to his (mostly) and your time out of the water, and this remained in place after your husband opted not to dive at the last moment before closing. For the first dive, our team conducted a brief skills review and followed a more conservative dive profile, taking into account both the refresher requirements and your upcoming flight schedule. You then joined the certified diver group for the second dive. Unfortunately, visibility at Black Moon and Malong on that day was significantly affected by seasonal plankton blooms. While these conditions can reduce visibility, they are a natural occurrence and can vary considerably from day to day. Malong is a very popular dive site, but it was a bad day for visilbility. We appreciate your positive comments regarding our instructor, equipment and boat. We also reached out privately following your trip to apologise and offer a partial refund for the refresher upgrade, but unfortunately did not receive a response. Guest safety is always our highest priority, and Dive plans are always adapted based on experience, safety considerations, age, fitness and conditions on the day. Need a refresher? Choose Blue View!

You have a lot of choices for dive operators on Phi Phi, but after 2 years out of the water, I needed a refresher course and wanted a small group and chill atmosphere. I am really glad I chose Blue View Divers! My guide, Jose put me at ease right away, bringing the right energy and reassurance to the dives. With his guidance, I could relax and truly enjoy the beautiful coral, lobsters, eels, and the biggest puffer fish I've ever seen :) Also a special thanks to Caroline, who I caught just as she was closing up — she took the time to walk me though some options and booked me a last-minute spot, which I was so grateful for! Just a heads-up: at the time of this review, there was an additional 600 THB marine park fee, outside of Blue View Divers' control. Would highly recommend!
