Amazing scenery
Excellent day tour! Our driver and guide Mr. Jithindas was very kind, knows everything about the region, took us to perfect viewpoints and was really flexible with the itinerary. The scenery is magnificent, the visit to the factory is a must and the traditional Kerala lunch was really tasteful. The perfect itinerary to get to know Munnar in a day. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re delighted to hear you had such an excellent day exploring Munnar. It’s wonderful that Jithindas made your experience so enjoyable with his knowledge, flexibility, and care.

Ernakulam to Eravikulam and back again
As a solo traveler Trip Buggy was very responsive and accommodating over WhatsApp with me for any questions or concerns I had and was generous with a free hotel pick-up and drop-off from Kochi. Trip Buggy forwarded me the contact information for my driver and guide Jithindas who I cannot sing higher praise for. He was absolutely phenomenal and was not only dedicated to his craft but committed to being very engaging, funny and brotherly. Seeing as I was alone he accompanied me for many of the sights and attractions, and was more than willing to stop for photos, tea, food, whatever, you name it. Without his company the day wouldn't be as memorable or enjoyable as it was. Through the course of the day we visited the spice gardens, tea plantations, and a national park with a stunning view, and closed out the day with the historic tea factory and some chocolate sweet treats. Jithindas and I shared an early morning breakfast at a scenic sleepy hotel, a biryani lunch at a roadside hotel, some cake and tea snacks along the way. The ascending drive through the tea gardens and into the national park is truly breathtaking and the highlight of the day for me. I was compelled to take so many beautiful photos that beauty could no longer register to me. The goats were plentiful and calm, and thankfully we were able to dodge the worst of the crowds. The tour of the tea factory while brief and crowded was extremely interesting, if primarily through an aesthetic lens because so many of the labor processes, to say nothing of the infrastructure, seem minimally changed in the last century+. There are so many other little moments and sights that I'm skimming over, the second waterfall being the first photo shoot spot in a day that would become littered with them. I am not here during monsoon or rain season so the waterfalls weren't at peak strength, but at least the second one enjoyed being surrounded by the lush greenery of the Western Ghats. Blah blah blah, if you've got a day to spare and want to have a comfortable and engaging tour through the Ghats of Kerala, I could not recommend Trip Buggy, and especially my guide and companion Jithindas enough. Here's some photos from the day;
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that your solo day tour was memorable and enjoyable. Jithindas will be delighted to know his efforts made such a positive impact—he truly enjoys sharing the beauty and culture of Kerala with our travelers. We’re glad you loved the scenic drives through the tea gardens, spice plantations, and national park, as well as the tea factory and sweet treats along the way. Your kind words about our service and flexibility mean a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you on another Trip Buggy adventure soon!

Munnar a beautiful discovery 🌞
Today we went to visit Munnar departing from Fort Kochi, our fantastic driver Jithindas 🔝 🔝 🔝 , of the Trip Buggy company, picked us up at the appointed time and during the journey of about 3.30, with stops for breakfast and coffee, photos of the waterfalls and landscapes entertained us and told a bit of history of the places seen along the way and I must say that he is also a great photographer!!! We visited Ayur Valley, Eravikulam National Park with its wonderful tea plantation, and the tea museum. After the tour although it was already late Jithindas, to his detriment, offered us a relaxing stop at an Ayurveda center, which we accepted very willingly. At the end we returned more than satisfied at the hotel. Thank you Jithindas for the wonderful sympathy, courtesy and availability 😍 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Adventure in Munan
We spent an interesting day on the roads of India. It was an interesting experience to explore the tea plantations and the Evrilakum National Park. Unfortunately we did not manage to see the waterfalls because the road was affected by rains. The organizers were attentive to our group and we traveled in very good conditions. More information about the culture and the places seen would have been very useful. The driver was wonderful.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the journey

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kochi.
How much does Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kochi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kochi is not rushed.
Is Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kochi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kochi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kochi and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kochi to Munnar Full Day Tour with Eravikulam, lockhart and Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kochi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kochi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kochi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour, Local Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour, Kochi Sightseeing Tuk-Tuk Tour with Pickup From Cruise Ships. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kochi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kochi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
