    Very good and Attentive services

This team guided us through difficult terrains, helped us with the gears, provided assistance with our bags when we needed it most, fed us delious food, checked our heath twice a day to ensure we were trekking safely and most of all anticipated our needs before we had to ask. Their knowledge of the terrain and ability to translate that knowledge to those new to the mountain was critical to our success. I highly recommend Pinnacle to anyone considering summiting Kilimanjaro. Thank you to the following team members for their support during the journey! Frazier and Gloria, The dream team: Guide Hussein, Jonathan, Chef Omari, Salimu, Mosses, Herman and Ally

Response from the operator: Dear Rodney, Thank you for your thoughtful and generous review. Your feedback truly made our day, and we greatly appreciate your kind words. We are delighted to hear that your experience with Pinnacle was positive. Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction is our utmost priority, and it is incredibly gratifying to know we have met your expectations. Please know that any advice or counsel you provide will be valued and diligently adhered to.

    Safari and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania

We used Pinnacle team for a 3 day safari and Kilimanjaro hike this September. Absolutely amazing experience for both. We definitely would not have made it to the summit without our amazing guides, Sele and Abdul. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone, especially if traveling with children. They made the experience so much fun for my 15 year old son. Our guide for the safari, Good luck, was equally impressive. He had so much information on all the animals and was so kind and accommodating throughout our safari. This was the trip of a lifetime and we were so grateful to everyone that made the experience wonderful.

Response from the operator: Dear Evans, it was an honour to have you and your family here in Tanzania. Thank you so much for all the experiences, the trust and the learning we had together. Until we meet again Evans, Cheers

    +

Prices start at $2,488 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Kilimanjaro Summit Challenge: 6 Days via Marangu Route take?

Is Kilimanjaro Summit Challenge: 6 Days via Marangu Route worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Kilimanjaro Summit Challenge: 6 Days via Marangu Route suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Kilimanjaro Summit Challenge: 6 Days via Marangu Route?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Half Day Tour, Kilimanjaro climb, Machame Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
