Awesome adventure…must!
Stephen was excellent guide and we had a blast looking for wild mustangs. He had great knowledge and shared amazing books about the horses.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Steve doesn’t horse around when it comes to finding the horses haha. Glad everything went well.

A very enjoyable experience
We had a great tour with Phoebe. We were really lucky as it ended up being only our family of 4. We all enjoyed the tour, including our teens (difficult age to please) and would highly recommend it. The tour lasts about 2h30. We saw pronghorns antelopes and a pack of mustangs from a respectful distance. We learnt their names (loved the foal Bon Jovi). We enjoyed walking out to see them and felt safe throughout with Phoebe (this is also rattlesnakes territory but thankfully we didn’t spot any). We also learnt a lot about local legends and the surrounding mountains. My tip: wear long trousers and high boots as the prickly pears are best avoided.
Response from the operator: Thank you for going out of your way to write a nice review. Phoebe is an excellent guide we really enjoy her being on our team. Sounds like you had a great wild mustang experience welcome to Wyoming

Not recommended
Owner tried to get u to change from 5pm to 8am. Then when I told him that time was not realistic. We would have needed to leave our current hotel at 3:30am, I offered to cancel. He said he’d call me by noon the next day if he needed to cancel. No call. We were the only two on the tour. Got there early and met owner, not very friendly. Guide was nice enough, but had no idea what he was doing. When we finally found two old stallions, he was as excited as we were. Would not recommend.
Response from the operator: I’m sorry you had a bad experience.Typically we never bring just 2 people out because we lose money on it.If you book through viator they take half of the commission so whatever you paid we get half of that.So he was actually trying to do a nice thing for you guys because with guides getting paid 20$ an hour and then fuel we lose a lot of money. So he was probably just busy and frustrated because he tried to move you to a different time so that you would have gotten a better experience but it sounds like since you couldn’t change then he rounded up a new guide to bring you out.We have a minimum capacity when people book through viator due to their high commission rates so we should have never have brought you out in the first place. So I’m sorry that you had a bad experience but we should have canceled you to begin with but if we do that then viator can pull our products off because of cancellations. So now with you putting a bad review that will happen anyway.I guess you’re danged if you do and danged if you don’t.But they were trying to make you happy by just bringing two people out because for the 60$ that we get off of your tour it’s not worth it.Now we lose money and get a bad review. So thank you very much. This is why small businesses go bankrupt. And there is never guarantee to see wildlife so you actually did get to see a couple of the horses. They are not in pens.

Mustang Fun
Seeing about 8 bands of mustangs! Deanna was an awesome guide, friendly and knowledgeable. She was very considerate of my husband, who walks slower and needs help in and out of van.
Response from the operator: These wild horses are awesome to see. Glad you had a great experience seeing them. Safe travels.

Awesome experience, must do!
This was an absolutely awesome experience. Our guide Olivia was experienced and knowledgeable on the area, where to find the mustangs and history of the area and the mustangs. Not only did we get to see two herds, but she also took us to see the badlands (think South Dakota). The first herd we saw was a grouping of 3 Stallones. They were at the edge of a river and went out of sight shortly after we got there. We all got a viewing, and most got pictures. The second herd was about 40 Mustangs. Several smaller herds together. This included a large white stallion (there is a story to go along with him). There were a couple of yearlings, some paints. We were just about at the closeness limit of 300 feet. We all had plenty of time for photos and to watch their behavior. The spotting scope was nice to get real close views. The vehicle was a tall 15-passenger van that was very comfortable. Most of the drive is on dirt roads that are not smooth. Not 4 wheeling by any means, so don't worry about that. I would highly encourage this tour. There are no guarantees of seeing mustangs, but a knowledgeable tour guide (and a good spotter) increases your chances of success. Wild animals are not on a schedule, so a bad review for not seeing any mustangs is really a bit cheeky. I will do this tour again the next time we are here. An absolute must do! Alex and Kelly from Spokane.
Response from the operator: Alex & Kelly that’s one of the best reviews we have had. But everything thing you said was right on the money. Definitely give us a call if you’re back in this area. Cody Wy Adventures

Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cody.
How much does Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cody usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cody is not rushed.
Is Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cody, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cody can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cody and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Kicking Red Canyon Wild Mustang Bus Tour Deals 8am Daily start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cody within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cody?
+
Cody, WY packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Cody by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Cody experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cody Trolley Tours - Best of the West Trolley Tour, Self-Guided Audio Driving Tour in Yellowstone and Grand Teton, Red Canyon Wild Mustang Tours And Safaris In Cody Wyoming. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cody?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Cody, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cody?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
