What you get
About this experience
Enjoy the freedom of a self-guided dive without the structure of a guided group. Dive with your buddy at your own pace, explore independently, and make the most of your time underwater—while still having a professional crew on board for support and safety. Our spacious 45-foot catamaran offers plenty of room to gear up, move around comfortably, and relax between dives—setting us apart from smaller, more crowded boats. Because we welcome both divers and snorkelers, we’re able to access a wide range of reef sites. Our experienced captains select locations each day based on conditions, helping ensure the best possible visibility and marine life. Traveling with non-divers? This trip is a great option for families or groups with mixed interests, allowing snorkelers and divers to enjoy the experience together. With a laid-back atmosphere and attentive crew, this is an easy, well-run way to experience some of Key Largo’s best diving.

Amazing Open Water Cert Exprience!
I got my open water certification at Amoray Diving last week and had the best experience. Gabe, Ricki, Kevin and the whole crew were so helpful and kind, and the dive spots were beautiful! I had the best time and highly recommend if you’re looking to get SCUBA certified. I also stayed at the resort for two nights while getting certified and the room was clean and really convenient.
Response from the operator: Congratulations on your certification and welcome to the Amoray Family! Thank you so much for your kind words. I will be sure to pass them along to Gabe, Ricki, Kevin, and the rest of the Amoray crew. We're so happy to hear that you had an enjoyable experience with us and that the ocean provided for you on your certification dives. We hope to be able to provide you with another enjoyable experience the next time you are on the island! Peace, Love & Diving! Tess ADC Staff

Found the perfect quaint dive resort!
We had the best experience at this Dive Center. We stayed at the resort for 5 days getting open water certified. The atmosphere was perfect. The crew was absolutely the best and so friendly and fun. The guides on the boat were so helpful and willing to help you with any obstacle to feel safe. Perfect for any age to get certifed. All guides were very patient

Great dive team
Team was great you dive on your own unless you pay for a guide but was an easy dive finding your way around. Team was fun and professional. Would go with them again!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words, Sherry. We are so lucky that the dives here in Key Largo are simple, calm dives where people are able to confidently self-guide, or, if they would like to be even more on "island time," they have the option to hire a guide as well. We're so glad you had an enjoyable experience with us here at Amoray and hope to have you on board again soon! Peace, Love & Diving! Tess ADC Staff

Awesome diving
We are over here from the UK and my wife and I plus 2 teenage kids had a wonderful 2 tank dive with Amoray. Saw lots of fish, turtles and also had a lovely wreck dive. Capt. Kevin and Kent are experienced and safe operators. Would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: We are so pleased you had a great time. Our goal is friendship and security. Hope you left feeling both. Have a great trip home, and hope to see you again in the future! Amoray Dive Center

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Key Largo.
How much does Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers cost?
+
Prices start at $114 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Key Largo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Key Largo is not rushed.
Is Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 139 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Key Largo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers?
+
Around 49 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Key Largo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Key Largo and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Key Largo 2-Tank Boat Dive for Certified Divers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Key Largo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Key Largo?
+
Key Largo is the dive and snorkel capital of the Keys: John Pennekamp reef trips, Christ of the Abyss snorkels, glass-bottom boats, sunset sails and backcountry eco tours. On Outty we rank every Key Largo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Key Largo Two Reef Snorkel Tour - All Snorkel Equipment Included!, Half Day Snorkel Trip on Reefs in the Florida Keys, Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure in Key Largo. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Key Largo?
+
December to May for clear water and calm seas. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Key Largo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
